CHAPTER 5

Why is he looking at me like that? Elizabeth wondered. She shook the thought from her head and focused on him. She stood there gazing into his eyes and all of the sudden she felt something inside her change. She wanted to kiss him. She slid her fingers into his dark hair and felt him shudder. She wanted to stop herself, but she couldn’t. These feelings are wrong she told herself. He is my best friend. It just wouldn’t be right and what if he doesn’t feel the same.

Jordan could see the inner turmoil going on inside Elizabeth’s head when he looked into her eyes. He wished that she would stop running her fingers through his hair. It wasn’t helping him get rid of his urge to kiss her. He pressed his fingertips into her back lightly. He thought he heard her breath catch. This is it he told himself. I’m going to do it. He removed his hand from her back and placed it under her chin and lifted her face to his. Her eyes widened when she realized what was about to happen, but he wasn’t going to stop. This is a chance that in his heart he knew he had to take. Their lips met and he felt her tense up but as she parted her lips her body loosened.

Oh my god what are we doing? Elizabeth thought. This is so wrong. When she parted her lips all her thoughts were erased. Their tongues met and Elizabeth’s body relaxed. She felt Jordan’s hands slide up the back of her shirt and didn’t care she was falling for him and as much as she tried to tell herself she wasn’t her heart knew the truth. His kiss was gentle and passionate and it was working her into complete and total bliss. As his hands slid onto her stomach she thought about what it would be like to make love to him. Would it be as perfect as his kiss? She wondered. She wanted to let him know that it was okay for him to let go and explore her further so she slid his hands up higher under her shirt.

Jordan let her push his hands up and took it as a hint that she wasn’t afraid to let him go farther. He wanted to make love to her. He wanted to give her something that was real and make her feel like she was the most important thing in the world to him, because she was. He pulled away from her lips and began softly kissing her neck. He drank in the scent of her skin and it only made him want her more. Listening to the sounds coming from her he decided to go further. He reached down to the hem of her shirt and began pulling it up slowly at first. When she made no objections he pulled it up over her head and tossed it aside.

Elizabeth had never felt this way before. She was scared, but felt so completely safe at the same time. She let him remove her shirt and was now tugging at his. He bent down and lifted her. She didn’t know where he was taking her when he began carrying her away, but she did know that she was willing to go anywhere with him.

Jordan laid her down on the bed. Was this really happening? Was he really about to make love to her? He looked down at her as she slid out of her pants. He continued to watch her lay back down. Her long hair spread out around her head and it made her look angelic. He wanted to tell her how beautiful she was, but he just couldn’t find the words. She pulled him down on top of her and pressed her lips against his. Jordan closed his eyes and slid his tongue between her lips. “You’re so beautiful.” he whispered into her mouth.

“What?” she asked.

“Nothing.” Jordan replied embarrassed.

Elizabeth shrugged her shoulders and reach between them for Jordan’s jeans. I wonder what he said she thought to herself as he unbuttoned them. She shrugged it off and stared into his eyes. Why had she never noticed how amazing they were? When she gazed into them she could see into him just like she had been able to do when they were younger. God I’ve missed him she thought as he pressed his lips back against hers. As he kissed her Elizabeth wondered if she had always secretly felt this way about him.

Her question went unanswered as she felt his fingertips gliding down her legs as he removed her panties. When he had cast them aside Jordan slid off his own boxers and positioned himself between the legs of his best friend. God this is so wrong he thought to himself, but it feels so perfect at the same time. He kissed her collar bone as he slowly slid himself into her. He felt her body tense up, so he stopped and waited for her to relax. Elizabeth’s breath was ragged and she tried to relax. When she was ready she urged him to keep going by softly sinking her teeth into his earlobe. Jordan moaned and pushed the rest of the way in. Still worried about what kind of discomfort she might be feeling he started very slow, but her moans were begging for him to pick up the pace. Jordan became lost in love that he barely felt the digging of her nails in his back as he brought her to orgasm. He hadn’t even realized just how close he was until he was releasing himself into her.

“Jordan.” Elizabeth purred into his ear soon after he had collapsed on top of her.

“What?” he asked sweetly.

“What just happened?” she said worry evident in her voice.
