Best friends forever? Part 2

CHAPTER 2
4 years Later
“I present to you the Class of 2007.” The principal said into the microphone.
The entire senior class, including Elizabeth threw their caps into the air and cheered. They all walked off of the football field in single file lines and made their way to their parents. Elizabeth saw her family and broke into a sprint. “Oh honey we’re so proud of you.” her mom said wrapping her arms around her daughter.
“Thanks mom.” Elizabeth replied hugging her back.
Although Elizabeth was overjoyed with the fact that she had made it through high school, she couldn’t help but think about Jordan and what it would have been like if he had been there to graduate with her.
“There is someone here that might be even more proud of you than I am.” her mom said beaming at her.
“Who?” Elizabeth asked confused.
As soon as the words came out of her mouth she saw who exactly her mother was talking about.
“JORDAN!!!” she screamed throwing her arms around him. “What are you doing here?”
“I moved back!” He exclaimed hugging her as tight as he could.
“What?!?!?!”
“Yeah, I moved out of my parents house and back here. I promised you I would.” he said pulling away from her.
“Oh my god I can’t believe it. I mean I knew you would, but I just can’t believe that you are here right now.” Elizabeth said feeling like she could cry, scream and laugh all at the same time.
“I know I can’t believe I’m back either, but I’m really glad I am.”
For a minute the two of them just stood there looking at each other.
“You look so different.” Jordan said smiling.
“So do you.” Elizabeth replied.
He did look very different from the tall scrawny kid she had known him to be. He was muscular now and tan instead of the pasty white he used to be. His hair was dark and he styled it into a faux hawk. The only thing that hadn’t changed were his eyes. They were still brown, but instead of just brown she noticed that they had a little green in them, something she had never noticed before.
Jordan looked at Elizabeth. His accusation was correct. She did look really different. She had let her auburn hair grow out and it was now down past the middle of her back. She was only a couple inches shorter than him now and as he looked at her all he could think about was what a beautiful woman she had grown up to be. She definitely wasn’t the small ratty haired girl that she used to be.
