A new World Called California Part 14

CHAPTER 14

I was so deep in thought I didn’t even hear Justin talking to me. He must have said my name a few times because he began tapping my hand. I turned to look at him. I smiled apologetically. “Sorry I was completely lost in thought.”

“Oh really what were you thinking about?” he asked.

“Me and you.” I answered without thinking. Was I crazy? There wasn’t a me and him. A look of concern appeared on his face.

“What about me and you? It doesn’t have anything to do with the magazines does it?”

“No its nothing to do with them.” I answered.

“What is it then?” he asked sounding a little worried.

“I was just wondering how you feel about me and if what we have could take us anywhere.” I felt stupid saying it, but relieved to get it off my chest. He wrapped his arm around me and said, “Honestly I can’t put how I feel about you into words. It’s way too soon to do that, but I want you to know I’ve never been drawn to a girl the way I am to you. I think if we wanted this to go somewhere babe it definitely could.” He leaned in and kissed me. “I could see myself with you girl.”

I smiled, “so lets just let whatever happens happen.” I said feeling sure of myself.

“I like that idea.” he said kissing me again.

I was starting to fall for him and now at least I knew he was falling for me too.

After we had both finished eating he took care of the bill and we headed back out to his car. It was still early so I figured we would do something else. When we were both in the car he looked at me and asked, “I was thinking maybe we could just go back to your house for the night. I mean if that’s okay with you?”

“That sounds really good actually.” I answered. I wasn’t really up for a party of a club. He took my hand and laced his fingers with mine as we headed back to my place. When we arrived back at my apartment I unlocked the door and we stepped inside. “Jealous ex-boyfriend isn’t here is he?” he asked a wry smile on his face, “because if he is we could make him a bit more jealous.” he said as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

I laughed, “No, actually he’s currently with the LAPD.”

“What?!?” he asked confused. So, I told him the story. “Wow what a fucking psycho.” he said when I had finished.

“I know right?” I said as I slid off my shoes. I made my way into my bedroom with Justin close behind. “Do you want comfortable clothes to change into?” I asked, “because I have some guy pajama pants that I’m sure will fit you and I have you shirt clean.”

“yeah that would be great.”

I located his shirt and the pants and handed them to him. I went back to my drawers to find something for myself. I selected a pair of white sweats and a black v-neck shirt. “Will you unzip this for me?” I asked Justin as I walked backwards towards him. He unzipped my dress slowly and helped me out of it. He lightly kissed my shoulders. I shivered as I stood there in my lace panties and strapless bra. He wrapped his arms around me letting a hand rest on each hip. He kissed my neck and I felt the slightest touch of his tongue on my skin. I let out a deep sigh.

“You’re so cute.” he purred into my ear. He kissed my cheek and released me so I could dress. I pulled on my clothes and stood in front of him.

“Hi.” I said wrapping my arms around his neck.

“Hi.” he replied smiling, and kissing my forehead.

“I have an embarrassingly large DVD collection if you want to relax on the couch and watch a movie.” I offered.

“That sounds like a good idea, and don’t worry about it I might possibly have more DVDs than you. When I am on tour I have to have something to do while I’m on the road.”

I smiled and took his hand pulling him back out into the living room. I opened the many cupboards of my entertainment center to reveal what had to be a couple hundred DVDS. I thought I saw Justin’s eyes widen. “I love to watch movies. What can I say?” I said shrugging my shoulders. I did love movies. So much so that I always dreamed that my life would be a movie with a fairy tale ending, but I wasn’t about to tell him that. When we had agreed on one of them I put it in and flopped down on my brown couch next to Justin. The couch was big enough that you could stretch your legs out in front of you. I placed one leg over top of Justin’s as he put an arm around me. I rested my head on his shoulder.
