Denise leaned in, interested in the story. "Go on!" the girls shouted at Heather. "Fine! Well, James decided to gain some respect in town before continuing the family legacy. He became a doctor and instantly became one of the most popular men in town. So now, people trusted the Brandywine family name again. James settled down, got married, and had a daughter. Well, when his daughter was born, he started killing. First, it was inconspicuous. People would go to Dr. Brandywine to get cured, and he would give them medicine. Consitering everyone trusts a doctor, they took it, no questions asked. And soon, people started dying. James knew what he was doing, so he moved his family out of town. He was releasing a disease in the town that targeted children under ten."

"Wait!" Chelsea cried. "I have to pee." They all stopped and waited for Chelsea to come back. "Better?" Alda asked. "Much. Continue, please." Heather groaned. "Well, ten years later, James moved back into town. His daughter was eleven now, so the disease couldn't hurt her. People welcomed Dr.Brandywine with open arms. He learned that half of the town had died. So,out of guilt, he spent the rest of his life working on a cure. In the time it took to develop this cure, his wife lost three sons and his daughter lost five children. He finally made the cure, which was a mixture of herbs from the nearby swamps. He died a week later at the age of fifty seven."

"Hey," Denise interrupted, "How could this be only a hundred years ago?" "Only a hundred?" Heather asked, apparently not remembering what she had said earlier. "I meant about two hundred. Robert Brandywine started this town in 1815, and he died in 1830. Then James died in 1887. There. Clear it up for you?" Denise nodded her head yes. "Well then. So, his daughter Alyssa had given up on ever having children in the town. She was so filled up with hate towards Brandywine for making her father release the disease upon it. Oh yeah, she had figured out on her own that he was the one who released the virus, and about her violent family past. Well, Alyssa decided to start targeting young families. People who were just starting a family, and only had one or two small kids. The first family she murdered was a new family in town. They had four small children and the bride's family was living with them. Of course, Alyssa killed the older family first. Then she took the four children into the swamps. She drowned them beneath the thick murky waters, deep into the darkest part of the bogs. Their cries were only heard by Alyssa. Since she enjoyed doing this more than she had expected, it became her 'hobby' in a way. Over eight years, she killed over fifty children under thirteen. And their families, but she was more concerned with the kids. In 1894, Alyssa's body was found in the swamps. She had hung herself on the vines, leaving a simple note that read: Brandywine shall tremble."

The girls all looked at Heather. Then Alda spoke up. "I thought this was about one single killer. This is like..." "A family affair?" Denise interupted. "Yeah...A family affair. The family business is murder!" They all laughed, but a thought came upon Denise. I have an ancestor who killed herself in 1898 named Alyssa... "Anyways, so you must think that the Brandywine name had died, right?" Heather asked. The girls nodded. "Well, there was a man in town who had had a fling with Alyssa nine months earlier. In the boat they found under her body, a small baby was lying there. It looked just like her, and when they did an autopsy on her body, they discovered that when she hung herself, the baby came out almost simutaniously. Luckily, it didn't die. The man took the baby in and raised it. When the baby, Christopher, was fifteen, his father fell out of his boat and drowned right around where Alyssa used to drown the other kids. Christopher was devistated, because now he was a bastard child, left out alone in the world. No one wanted to take him in because he was the son of Alyssa Brandywine and Frank Henderson, who was also notorious for raping small children before he got Christopher. Well, when Christoper went out to the site where his father had died, he saw a vision of his mother hanging there. He got mixed up and thought that the people of Brandywine had killed her. So..Well, he got his revenge. But nothing was documented because most of the records of his murders were lost in the fire of 1910, which was beieved to have been set by him. In 1911, he got married to a twelve year old girl. A year later, she died while giving birth to his daughter, Elaina Pricilla Marie Yevette Opheliah Katherine James Henderson. The next year, Elaina killed him by crawling under his feet while he was standing at the top of the stairs. He was one out of thirty men that she would kill."

"When Elaina was eighteen, she killed the man she was having an affair with after he told her that he wanted to go back to his wife. Afterwards, she became a hot topic among town. She started being a prostitute just to kill men. And they lined up for it. A year before the Great Depression, she was arrested and charged with murder. They shot her exicution style the day before Black Tuesday. Of course, not before saving the son she had had with the last man she killed. One of the guards took the boy home and named him Henrey, afer himself. Well, Henrey was told about his viscious family past in 1949, but he wanted nothing to do with it. Henrey wanted to be good. Now, here's where the legend ties into it all. In 1950, Henrey had a son whom he never told about his past. Then in 1970, Henrey's son had a son, who's name remains unknown. But that son decided to carry on the family name. He decided to buy a large black astro van. When he saw a nice looking woman on the street, he charmed them, then got them to come to a hotel with him. From there, he would knock them out and chain them to the bottom of his van. All of his victims have had an amateur labotomy preformed on them. That's where they cut your head open to examine your brain. He's very dangerous, and he still lives in Brandywine, because another victim was found today. Her name was Marrie, and the found her off Western Highway next to Wal-Mart. But there are still no suspects. And you know what they said on the news?" Heather asked them. The girls shook their heads no. "They said that he's getting younger in his victims. Marrie was only eighteen..."
