now what? part 5

     She was terrified, I could see it in her eyes, and it felt good. Being small as i was, it was hard to ever strike fear into someone you wanted to scare. I mean, its not easy to get scared of somebody who's a foot shorter than you.

     Much to my dissapointment Jake pulled me off his sister. I writhed, kicking and screaming, to get back to the power. he was forced to drag me outside. When the the door swung shut i went limp and when he stopped I lay on the wet grass.

     It was raining. Jake paced back and forth. I watched him, and though I could feel the black color streaming out of may hair, revealing my streaks of silver from the stress this whole mess had brought on, I didnt care.

     I lost it then. I broke down sobbing and curled into a ball, pressing my face into my soaked jeans

     "Kye!" Jake exclaimed in horror. "Kye I thought you were okay!"

     I wailed something, but even I couldn't understand me.

     I herd the intake of breath when he noticed the silver shot through my hair. But he suprised me.

     "Kye... did you just say 'ai shiteru'?"

     Sniffing I responded "Shiranai"

     We both gasped.

     "WHY THE HELL AM I SPEAKING JAPANESE?!" I shrieked

     "kye.... did you say "ai shiteru" before?

     "did I? why?"

    "because it means... I love you.." he trailed off eyeing my reaction

    "Zannen dezu." I whispered

    "Kye what do you mean?"

    "i'm ruining your life.."

    "no! no you're not!"

    I jumped up running towards the street, flying over the ditch.

    "Tomeru, ogokuna! KYE LOOK OUT!!"

    Someone grabbed my arm, hard. I growled, shaking.I looked up and two feet above my head there was a leering man.

    "Hello, beautiful."

    I tried to pull away. he simply grabbed my other arm. I snapped at his face, shaking even harder.

    "Well, aren't we a wild one."

    I spit on him, baring my teeth. He hoisted me over his shoulder and carried me fireman style. I screamed for Jake. but I heard yelling, then a gunshot and all was still. Panicking I bit his neck, taking the momentary slack in his hold to tear myself out of his grip in a massive moment of adrenaline. I shot towards Jake, fast as a bullet. He lay motienless in the ditch.

    "Don't die Jake! Don't die dammit, I need you! zannen dezu!!" I screamed shaking him as if I could wake him up from sleep.

    "ZANNEN DENZU!" I shrieked "zannen denzu... zannen-" I felt a sharp pain in the back of my head and felt a second of warm before I was out.
