Little man marcus was a hopeless yet special little worm, he asked his mummy worm why people looked at him with weird eyes, being his mummy she had no choice but tell him little white lies, she did not mention how his left eye was slightly greener and wider than his right blue eye. she said its because your special. marcus was happy with that...however as the days went on he was feeling it was another reason. so he picked up his red umbrella, little brown torch that was now grey becuase his pet cat was bored. and of corse his lovely stapler. he walked towards the famous candle in the mud pond and set out for a new adventure. this lady saw him, she looked as wise as they come so she told little man marcus the worm that he must go and see this man who will help and become the best little worm there ever was. marcus was excited so followed the muddy waxed map provided, on the way he came accorss many obsticles, not everyday events but events only worms expierence, for instance he went past the shoe shop and saw a little old worm working there wrinkles off trying to accomadate a very impatient millapede that wanted new shoes for the summer, marcus didn think that so many shoes were possibly made the same, but then relised that it wouldn be fair if the shoe factory didnt create that many shoes....next event,, the rain was coming and marcus forgot that his red umbrella was the one that came with his monoploy set from his aunty julie...so only covered his green eye, as the blue one was harder to get. it wasnt a good start to the adventure....the last event for the time being was a big shadow, not any old shadow but a big BLACK shadow, yer thats right a black shadow so different to any other shadow that it made even big shadows look silly. this shadow was owned by a giant! marcus thought his weird cat was a giant but no this was even bigger, it was noisy and quick shadow that only stopped at lamposts to salute and raise their legs. the shadow was getting closer and there was nowhere marcus could hide...the grass was no hope now.. the ground was solid and no way in. marcus said his prayers and held on tight to his red monopoly umbrella, little brown torch and his stapler and closed both eyes and inhis head started to sing its raining men ........

More from marcus' adventure soon, once i can rade my imagination for something more imaginative
