The one he called Elvira came out of the ally. She was beautiful; she had a soft completion and long blonde hair and like the man she too had midnight black eyes. She was wearing black pants with a black lacy corset top; she too was also very pale. I was beginning to get light headed. The man placed his hands on my shoulders holding me with a firm grip.

“Have it your way” he smiled, he opened his mouth reviling his very sharp teeth and slowly leaned forward to my neck. I was able to let a small whimper escape my mouth has he clenched his teeth into me. My knees buckled beneath me, but he just held me up. The pain was excruciating but I was able to nothing to defend myself. My eyes slightly rolled back from the loss of blood. This can’t be real I told myself. I am dreaming again.

“Caleb!” Elvira shouted warning him. Another figure had appeared between Caleb and Elvira. I hadn’t seen him walk up; he had appeared there out of now where. It was another pale figure with dark curly hair; he stood scowling at Caleb with his fist clenched.

“Let her go” he demanded in a harsh but even tone. I would have recognized the voice anywhere. It was the one from my dreams the one who had told me to ‘open my eyes’ and called out my name.

“You’re too late, she is better off dead now anyways” Caleb chuckled dropping me to the ground. I landed with a thud hitting my head on the concrete; I could feel what blood I had left trickle down my head. My mystery man launched himself at Caleb. In defense Caleb ducked.

“What are you fighting for Rowen? She is just a girl, just like the last one, and the one before that.” Caleb laughed. Rowen growled getting up quickly, he kicked Caleb sending him flying into a brick wall; causing the wall more damage that it did Caleb. Caleb stared at Rowen.

“Let it go” Elvira whispered to Caleb holding his arm. “He won’t get away so easily next time” She glared at Rowen and smiled, then gave him a quick wink before turning with Caleb and disappearing into the night. This was all too much for me I couldn’t take it all in. I closed my eyes and like the dark take me.
