I held my breath as Dr. Neilson continued to speak.

“The car was hit on the driver side” I grabbed Brie’s hand and squeezed it tightly and she did the same. “Mr. Perry was driving, he broke 5 ribs, both of his lungs collapsed, and he has major trauma to the head.” he continued “We repaired the lungs and ribs but there is no telling when or if he will ever wake up.” I covered my mouth in shock trying to keep myself from screaming. At this point I could hardly feel my right hand because I was squeezing Brie’s so hard. “Tyson Hallex and Tessa Martin were in the back seat of the car at the time, Mr. Hallex was on the driver’s side of the car and has a major concussion and had a lot of internal bleeding but we were able to fix it and he is in stable condition.” I was relieved to here that Tyson would be okay but my thoughts were now circulating around Tessa and Landon.

“And Tessa?” Brielle spoke up. Dr. Neilson looked down at the ground.

“I am very sorry but she did not make it” he said slowly. My eyes widened as the tear rolled down my face. I was silent and scarcely breathing; Brielle broke down into hysterics and shook her head not believing what she had just heard. My world melted away. How could this happen? My world had come to a complete stop as the doctor said those words everything around me became muffled and blurry. This must be a dream; this can’t be happening it just can’t. A nurse came to our side as Brie was on her knees on the floor still crying. Brayden handed Evan who was now somewhat awake to the nurse and dropped to the floor to comfort Brie. The nurse bounced Evan up and down trying to calm him as he now started to cry and kick at being in someone else’s arms. I got up and took him from the nurse then walked down the hall. I had no idea where I was going; my mind was completely blank I felt as if I wasn’t even there at all.

“Lany?” Evan said touching my face. Everything came rushing back to me. I sat down on the ground with Evan and began to cry there was nothing I could do to stop the tears from coming. Evan looked at me with a sad face “Lany onay?” (onay = okay) he said, he kissed my tear stained cheeks “All better” he smiled weakly.

“I wish it was that easy buddy” I patted his back. I walked back to the waiting room where Brie and regained control of herself. I handed Evan back to Brayden. I held Brie’s hand as the doctor came back over to us.

“Again I am very sorry for you loss” he said patting Brielle’s knee. “I don’t know if knowing this will help but she did not suffer. It was quick and over in an instant” Tears flowed from both mine and Brie’s eyes.

“When will Tyson be awake?” Brie asked.

“Within a few hours the Anastasia should ware off” he told us.

“Can I… Can I see Landon?” I asked choking back my tears.

“He is in room 177” he told me before getting up and leaving. I asked Brayden to watch Evan I did not want Evan to see his dad like this. I didn’t even know if I wanted to see his dad like this. I asked Brielle to come with me and she held my hand as we walked down the hall towards Landon’s room. As we reached the door I paused not sure if I could go in.

“I will be right here with you” Brie reassured.

“Thank you” I sniffed back my tears.

(Okay so i hope you all arnt too mad at me, i could never get rid of Landon. i have grown close to my characters and i couldnt bring myself to kill him off. so anyway i am not going to be able to get any new chapters up untill monday i have to go to work and i dont get service where i work and i dont get back till sunday evening. sorry =[ but there is much more to come)
