I was released from the hospital but I was to go right home and get into bed. I was not allowed to walk on my leg for awhile and I was going to be in a cast for almost 8 weeks. My dad and Tyson helped me up the stairs and into my bed while Brie, Brayden, and Tessa followed behind.

“Is there anything I can get you your majesty?” Tessa teased.

“Yeah a healed leg, a million dollars, and my boyfriend” I smiled.

“Can’t do the 1^st one, it would be too much effort to do the 2^nd one, but the 3^rd one I can do” she replied.

“Actually you can’t he is a little busy with…” I hadn’t told my dad or the boys about Evan “With… his dog” I lied.

“Oh yeah his dog” Brielle said.

“I didn’t know Landon had a dog” my dad said.

“Yeah well he does” I said quickly.

“Well I don’t mean to just drop you off and leave but I have a shoot I need to get to. You think you will be okay without me?” my dad asked, I returned his question with Of-Course-I-Will-Be-Fine look. “Alright, alright, but you girls will look after her?” he looked at my friends and they nodded smiling.

“I got to get going to babe, I gots to get to work” Tyson said to Tessa as he leaned down and gave her a quick kiss before heading out the door.

“I’m going to get going to, give you girls some alone time and all.” Brayden said to Brie as he too leaned down and gave her a quick peck then left.

“I don’t mean to be mean or anything but you guys probably shouldn’t stay to long either. Landon is going to bring Evan by soon.” I told my friends.

“So I am guessing you forgave him then?” Brielle asked.

“I haven’t completely forgiven him but I love him and Evan is apart of his life and I can’t ignore that.”

“Wait so do you think this is why Landon hasn’t been puttin out?” Tessa asked with a semi serious face. I couldn’t help but give a giggle as Brie did too.

“I guess” I laughed. We talked for a bit longer, it felt good to laugh and hang with them again. After they left I waited for Landon to show up but soon fell asleep.

I woke up to the sound of Evan giggling. I looked over on the floor next to my bed and saw Landon playing with Evan. Landon had these 2 little action figures and was making them crash into each other as they pretended to be fighting. More giggles came from Evan each time Landon made the toys clash together.

“Don’t you think that’s a bit violent?” I asked him, he jumped a little startled by my voice.

“Hey, how long have you been awake?” he asked a little embarrassed.

“Not long” I told him stretching the best I could without causing more pain to my already aching leg. Landon got up off the floor and picked Evan up with him then sat down on my bed.

“Evan” Landon said trying to get the little boys attention “Evan, hey buddy I’d like to you meet someone. This is Lacey” he pointed at me “Lacey” he said again making sure he heard my name. “Can you say Lacey?” Landon asked his son, Evan stared up at his father not knowing exactly what he wanted him to do. Evan didn’t say anything but then cuddled in close to his dad. Landon laughed “he is just a little shy” he explained. I smiled as the tiny boy gripped Landon’s hands and proceeded to stand on his Landon’s legs.

“Hi Evan” I said tickling his side a bit, Evan turned to me and gave a shy smile “Hi” I repeated waving at him. Evan raised a finger and pointed down at my cast and said “Ow”

“Yes Lacey got a boo-boo” Landon explained to Evan as Landon gently placed his hand on my cast and rubbed it softly. Evan crawled of his daddy’s lap and kissed my cast

“All better!” he waved his hands in the air excitedly. Landon and I both laughed.

“Yes all better buddy” Landon patted him on the back and kept a protective hand out as Evan stumbled up to my face. He got right up close to my face and studied it. I made cross eyes at him and he burst out into giggles and threw his arms around me. I hugged Landon’s little boy and I felt tears coming to my eyes. Landon saw this grabbed my hand and squeezing it. As Evan pulled away he gave a great big yawn.

"You getting tired  buddy?" Landon asked but Evan shook his head fighting of another yawn. "I think you are." Landon tickled him softly then laid down next to me with Evan in between us. Landon rubbed Evan's back as he drifted off into dreamland.
