“Luke” I said not knowing what else to say. My entire body was shaking and there was no controlling it. Brielle was crying harder than ever and I wished to god that she would shut up I need to think about how to get out of this situation.

“Shouldn’t you be at school?” Lucas asked leaning against the door frame as if not threatened by me at all. I still had the knife in my hand and behind my back I slowly started cutting the tape from Brie’s legs. I kept Luke’s gaze making sure he was distracted by what I was doing.

“Yeah well I just came to get Brie and then we will be on our way back to school” Brie saw what I was trying to do and stopped crying so much.

“Um Brielle is not going anywhere and now that you are here I don’t think you will be going anywhere either” he smirked. I got it! Brie’s legs were free from the tape.

“Luke come on don’t do this I am your sister! You don’t want to hurt me” I pleaded. But all Lucas did was laugh at this comment.

“Didn’t stop me before did it?” he said, what had happened to my brother? This was not the brother I knew. We stared at each other for a long moment then without warning Brie jumped up off the bed and ran for the door.

“Brie no!” I yelled but it was too late Lucas had her by the throat backed against the door within a matter of seconds.

“Luke let her go!” I yelled my heart nearly beating out of my chest. I pulled the knife into view threatening Lucas.

“Try it” he dared pulling a gun from the top draw of the dresser and placing it next to Brielle’s temple. I dropped the knife instantly. He had the gun pointed at me the entire time he re-taped Brielle’s hands, legs, and mouth. Then he came at me with the tape and the gun. I stayed perfectly still as he taped my hands and legs together and my mouth. When he was done taping me I thought he would just leave me there on the floor but he hit me over the head with the gun and I fell to the floor in nauseating pain. I lay on the floor and felt warm blood trickle down my forehead to the floor. I couldn’t quite open my eyes yet but I could her Brie’s muffled screams through the tape. Then I heard another noise but this noise was good. It was the sound of someone breaking through the door and kicking someone’s ass. Hopefully my brother’s but it still hurt too much to open my eyes. Then there was a loud thump as a body hit the floor. I willed myself to open my eyes, but when I did I thought I must be seeing things because Brayden was standing over Lucas beating the shit out of him.
