After Cody and I finished eating, I wanted to go see what Dustin was doing, I kept telling myself he would never cheat on me. Cody and I walked out of the diner; he looked over at me, and asked, “Do you want to go check up on him?”

            “No, well yes…should I?” I asked.

            “Do you think you should?” he answered with a question.

            “I don’t know…I trust him but I don’t know.” I answered.

            “How about we go back to your place and watch a movie, or something,” he said trying to get Dustin off my mind.

            “Ok, sounds good, ill ask Dustin to come, while you get everything set up” I said smiling.

            “Are you sure?” he asked.

            “Yes,” I answered.

            “Ok,” he said and started walking towards Dustin and my houses.

            Cody goes to mine and I go up to Dustin’s front door, I knocked once. No answer. I knocked again. Still no answer, I turned the handle it was unlocked, I opened the door quietly. She walked upstairs to his room, the door was cracked up slightly, I looked through the crack. There was Dustin and Katie, laying on the bed, half-naked, and making out, while Dustin’s hands run up and down her body. Katie was moaning lightly. I wanted to yell I was hurt, how could he do that to me. I pushed open the door and stood there it took him several minutes to look over. He knew I was mad he looked at me with this face, and said “Emi… it’s not what it looks like.”

            “Oh, really because it looks like you and your ex girlfriend, were about to have sex,” I said, then turned and ran out of the house, I wanted to cry, I should be crying but I was not. I ran inside my house, Cody was sitting on the couch, with my little brother watching some TV waiting on me. When I looked at him, I knew what I wanted, I had been wanting to kiss him all day, but couldn’t. As I shut the back door I told my little brother to leave, I needed to talk to Cody alone, for a minute. My brothers a good guy, he left, without arguing. I sat down on the couch next to him, and kissed him, deeply. He pushed me away, “wow, Emi, what’s up, what happened?” he asked, looking in to my eyes.

            “I walked in on Dustin and his ex girlfriend about to have sex,” I answered, leaning forward for another kiss.

            He pushed me away again, and asked, “Does that mean you too are over?”

            “Yes,” I answered, “now kiss me I’ve wanted to all day!”

            He pulled me in close and kissed me like no other boy had, I was on cloud nine while our lips met.
