“Oh, well maybe it’s a good thing then, because I don’t want a long distance relationship, I mean, I do like you its just…” I said.

“Just that you think we would be better friends” he added.

“I do like you but I think for now we should just be friends, but we can be good friends,” I said as Holly walked up and sat down next to us.

“Let’s go on swings then chaos, is that ok?” she asked.

“Yeah it’s fine with me,” Tyler said.

“Sure,” I added.

We had more meaningless convocation, until, Kristen and Milla, came back with a pretzel, and water for us to share. As we walked down the path to the swings, we ate, and I tried not to think about Tyler, but it was hard because he was next to me. We finished the pretzel just in time to get on the swings. Holly and I sat next to each other, Tyler in the middle, and Milla and Kristen at the end. We got bored as the ride manger came around to check the belts. “Let’s play tag,” Camilla said.

Camilla, tagged Tyler, Tyler tagged Holly, Holly to I and back to Kristen; we went around a few times. When we took off, we kept playing, until the ride manger said, “Stop moving the swings!” we stopped, and she kept saying it even though we had stopped. As the ride was stopping, we saw a security guard coming up. Kristen was worried, she didn’t want to get in trouble, and she never gets in trouble so it’s different for her. Before he could yell at us for something we didn’t do we had to get down, the stupid, ride manger couldn’t get us down, so we went around at ten times talking about how we didn’t really do anything. When she finally got us down, and went over to grab our flip-flops, the security guard, said “when the manger asks you to do something, you should do it, don’t argue.”

“We didn’t argue,” I thought to myself.

“Ok,” we all said just so that we could leave.

As we, left we talked about how we didn’t argue, and talk about more stuff that is meaningless. I jumped up on to the rail to sit down; Tyler did the same on the other rail. I couldn’t even listen to what they were talking about I was staring off into space. When the line started moving I jumped down, so did Tyler but he tripped over something some how, we laugh of course, but he laughed at himself so it was all good. I rode with Holly, on this ride again, Tyler rode alone in the cart next to me, and Kirsten and Milla rode in the cart next to Holly. This ride didn’t seem to much fun anymore, I don’t know if its because I was thinking about Tyler when I shouldn’t be. After this ride, we had to go back to the locker, so Holly and Tyler could grab there things, they had to leave early. I hugged Holly goodbye, but when it came to hug Tyler, I didn’t want to because…I didn’t want to fall for him I didn’t want to think about him. He pulled me close to him, and whispers, “I will miss you…and I hope you don’t mind me calling you when I do,” he slid something in my back pocket.

“Bye,” I whispered. He kissed me on the cheek and walked away with holly.

I didn’t want to read the note until I got home. For another hour Kristen, Milla and I went on a few rides, and walked around, played a few games, and had more convocation that is meaningless. About two hours later when I got home, I took out the note I couldn’t decide if I wanted to read it or burn it. I laid on my bed, thinking finally I decided to read it, it read “Amanda…I'm going to miss you, you were so easy to talk to, and I'm starting to fall for you…I will always be here for you…call me when ever you want to…make sure you don’t forget about me…because I know you will always be on my mind.”
