            Dustin and I walked in to the kitchen, from the back door, “oh Dustin, you have grown! You look wonderful,” my mama, said as she put down the knick and vegetables, she walked over and gave him a hug.

            “Thank you, you look wonderful,” Dustin said hugging her.

            “Hello Dustin,” my daddy said putting his hand out for Dustin to shake it. Dustin shook his hand and said, “Hello sir.”

            “Mom I invited Dustin to stay for dinner that ok right?” I asked already knowing the answer.

            “Of course, we love having Dustin,” she answered.

            I rolled my eyes at Dustin, he laughed, he fit in with my family, because he has always been here, and he always will be. “How was your school year?” mama asked, while, continuing chopping the vegetables.

            “It was like any other, but fun,” he said.

            “Well that’s good,” she said. “Emi, why don’t you get everybody something to drink.

            “Yes mama.”

            I got five glasses from the cabinet, “what do y’all want to drink?” I asked

            “Water” mama answered.

            “Same here,” said my brother.

            “Ill take a beer, do you want one Dustin?” he asked.

            “No thanks I don’t drink ill have a soda,” he answered.

            “That’s good you don’t drink, it screws with your brain,” daddy said.

            I grabbed my daddy’s beer, the soda for Dustin, and three waters, for mama, my brother, and myself. I sat them down, daddy and mama at the ends, Ryan on one side, Dustin and myself on the other. “Dustin?” daddy said.

            “Yes sir?” Dustin asked.

            “Where’s your girlfriend?” he asked

            “oh, well its over between us. It just didn’t work,” he answered.

            “well that’s too bad, she was mighty fine.” Daddy said.

            “Well lets eat,” my mom said putting the last late on the table.

            “it looks great!” Dustin said.

            “thank you Dustin,” mama said smiling.

            “your welcome, and you look wonderful Emi,” he said very softly.

            “thank you,” I whispered.

            Soon dinner was over, and Dustin was helping my mama, do the dishes. I came up behind him, wrapped my arms around him, whispered “meet me upstairs in my room, when you done, your surprise will be waiting for you.”

            I started upstairs, and I knew that Dustin was staring at my ass as I walked away.
