It was hard for Brian & Alysa to find time to hang out. The only free time she had was when she was babysitting her brother, because then she would go of and go to work. And Brian, he would get up around 11-12, eat something and hang out with James, his “brother” until he had to go to work. So there was barely any time to see each other. One day about a week after summer vacation had started, Alysa was laying on her bed and she received an IM from Brian saying that he wanted to see her. “Babe I miss you so much. When can I see you?”
”I know Brian, I miss you also but I’m babysitting my brother and cousin, its not like I can leave them and come see you. Even though that is what I want to do.”“Well how about I come over and hang out with you for a while.”“Ya that would be great.”“Okay ill be over in like 15 minutes.”“Can’t wait”
This had made Alysa’s day. She was finally going to be able to see him after a week. They still talked every night for countless hours but it was nothing than having him kiss her and hug her. She had never felt like this about anyone and wondered if she was starting to like him even more. Just as she was getting her thoughts together, she heard a knock at the door and she knew who it was and this made her get butterflies. She opened the door and he greeted her by giving her a big hug and then a kiss.“Babe I’ve been needing that for a while now.”“I know what you mean. I can’t believe that I have made it without you.” She led him to the living room and they sat on the couch while they watched a movie. When her brother and cousin would leave he would start making out with her and this turned her on that she wanted more, but they both knew that it was to soon for that.In the middle of the movie he turned towards her and started kissing her, slowly at first and then with more passion. He knew that he could have her right here and now, but he wanted their first time to be special. He decided to go home before anything else happened. But when he started to get up Alysa pulled him on top of her and started kissing him. She pressed her lips to his and they were lost. He had his hands run through her hair and his kisses ran down her neck. He wanted to stop them, but he just couldn’t. Thankfully her brother walked in and this brought both of them to reality. After the movie was over, Brian went back home and promised that they would hang out soon. That night, Brian called her and let her know that he was going to go to his friend’s birthday party and he was going to be drinking. He didn’t want her to be mad when he called all drunk. She said that it was okay for him to go, only if he promised that he would call her.It was almost midnight and he had not called. Alysa started to wonder if he had forgotten or worse if he was occupied with some girl that had gone. She didn’t know if she should call him or wait for him to call her. But she didn’t have to think about it too much, because he was calling. She picked her phone almost at once and was so happy to hear his voice.“Babe I'm sorry that I’m calling you so late.”“That’s okay at least you called. I thought you had forgotten to call or worse that you were busy with some other girl.”“Alysa, you know you are my one & only. I have something to tell you and you might not believe me since I’m drunk, but the truth comes out when you’re drunk.”“Okay. What do you need to tell me?" She hoped that whatever it was that he told her will still stay true when he was sober. But whatever he said wouldn’t really matter since he wouldn’t know what he was talking about.”“Alysa, you are so beautiful. I have never felt like this towards anyone else. All day I think about you and can’t wait until we are both of work so I can talk to you into the early morning. I know we have only been going out for a little over a month, but I love you.”Alysa didn’t know what to say. This was the last thing that she thought he would say. She knew that it must not be true.“Babe what do you have to say.”“I don’t know what to say. Your drunk. You don’t even know what you are saying right now.”“It doesn’t matter if I’m drunk or not. I do love you. Please believe me.”“Brian its almost midnight, I’m tired, I want to get some sleep and you are drunk. Go back and have fun with your friends. I need to get some rest.”“Okay. But whether I’m drunk or not I do love you with all my heart.”“Okay. Bye.”“Bye.”Alysa hung up the phone and started to think about what he had said. She didn’t know whether she should believe him or not. She decided not to worry about it and went to sleep. About 10 minutes after she feel asleep Brian called her again. This time Alysa didn’t answer it and let it go to her voicemail. But strangely he didn’t leave a voicemail or so she thought. He had actually left a 5-minute voicemail in which he confessed all his feelings for her. This only made her feel worse because she kept thinking that he was drunk and didn’t know what he was talking about.She turned of her phone and went to sleep. The next morning she woke up and it was almost 11. It was weird for her to sleep in that late since she usually couldn’t sleep past nine. But she had had a bad night and that is why she slept in. When she turned on her phone, her phone started going of like crazy; she had 45 text messages from Brian and 13 voicemails. She didn’t want to deal with that again so she ignored them and tried to go back to sleep but she couldn’t since Brian kept on calling her. She finally answered the phone after like 4 times that he had called.“Alysa what’s the matter, why don’t you want to talk to me?”“Because. Don’t you remember what you told me last night?”“Of course. I remember that I told you that you were my one & only and that I had never felt like this towards anyone else and that I love you. Which you didn’t believe. Babe I might have been drunk last night but I do love you.”“You do?”“Yes I do. I was finding the right time to tell you that I loved you, but I couldn’t get the words out.”“Ok. But hey I have to go but ill call you later.”“Ok. I do love you Babe remember that.”“Ok. Bye”Alysa was more confused than ever. She didn’t know what to think. Was he just saying that he loved her so that he didn’t seem like a rambling drunk or did he really loved her. She had never been more confused in her whole life. She closed her eyes and tried to think about what happened. Hopefully she could figure everything out before she talked to him.
