Author's Note: This is from Brian's point of view...

 It was almost 10 o'clock and he couldn't go to sleep. He was tired from the Ag Mechanics competition but he wanted to talk to Alysa. He had tried to call her plenty of times but he was never able to dial the last digit.

But finally after a lot of tries he finally called her. When she answered, it gave him a smile.

 After talking for an hour he decided to aske her a very serious question. He knew that if he didn't ask her now, he would never be able to ask her later on.

"Who do you like." asked brian.

"Someone." Alysa answered. That wasnt the answer that he wanted to hear, but he just kept trying to convince her to tell him.

"Come on you can tell me."

"No. I don't think I can."

"Do I know him?"

"Ummm..yea u do know him."

At this he got really excited. Maybe the rumors were true. Maybe she did like him.

"Pretty well?"

"Umm...yea you can say that." Wow!! Can it be me. I have to find out.

"Who is it?"
"Umm.."No It isnt me or else she would tell me

 "Well who do you like."
"A girl." He was not willing to tell her that he had like her for weeks now.
"Well I sure hope u do." as she giggled.

"I love it when you do that." And it was true.

"So who is the girl u have fallen for."
"Well you know her."
"Ya do you talk to her alot."
"Umm.. ya you can say that. Especially in class."
"Come on tell me."
"No.. but why don't you tell me who you like..And why you haven't told him yet."
"How do you know i havent told him yet."
"I can just tell." (And if you have told him then i would now.) he thought to himself.
"Well the truth is..."

This is it.. she is going to tell me that it I am the guy she has fallen for. He thought

"I don't want to tell you. I am not sure that I want it to go anymore than just like."
"Why are you scared of liking him?"
"I don't want to get hurt like i have been hurt before. That is why."
"Well not every guy is the same. He probably wont hurt you. If it was me i wont hurt you." Damn i said too much. I might as well tell her. He thought.

"I know not all guys are the same but i dont know."
"Okay."

After five minutes of silence, he decided to tell her how he felt.

"Alysa. I have something very important to tell you. I have liked you for the last 3 weeks and I hope you feel the same. I just want you to know that I will never hurt you."
"What? I never thought u liked me."
"Well ya i do. "
"Well if we are being honest. I like you too. Have liked you for like a month."

"Well now that is out i have a question for you?"
"What is it?"
"Umm..
