Finally, the end of the year, the end of high school, the start of life. We all have the perfect way to celebrate it to. Tammy, Tom, Zack, Cat and I are going to go camping for 2 weeks before we all split, well most of us. Zack, that damn prodigy, is going to England to go to collage for Mathematics and Art. Tammy is going to Japan with Cat to study the culture while I’m going to be roommates with Tom. So, before we all head separate ways we decided to come up with this trip, to make memories forever.~õ~“OK,” Zack yells to us, “we’re loading up so everyone get your lazy asses into the car. We don’t want to be late.” He closes the trunk.“I still needed to put a bag in there!” I put my duffle bag on to of the trunk. “Why couldn’t we take the truck again?” Zack opens the trunk and I stuff my bag in there. I let out a yelp as most of the bags fall out. “DAMNIT, I’m such a klutz!” I began to pick up the bags, from the corner of my eye I see Zack crouch down next to me. I look at him and he’s snickering. “What?”“You’re clumsy,” he says still smiling. He starts helping me get everything into the car. We get up and I help him close the trunk. I look at Zack – his jet black hair glistening in the sun, hazel eyes shimmering, tan skin with light brown freckles spread across his cheeks – and feel like I did in high school, this feeling that I’m so confused about, the feeling of love, hurt, happiness and pain. I still don’t understand it. I’ve lived with this secret for four years and I will continue to live with it, unless…“Hey Jen,” Tom’s waving his hand in my face. I snap out of my trance and pretend to look on the ground as if I dropped something. “Jen,” I look up to see him snickering at me.“What? First him now you, what is up with you guys today?” I try to look at him but the sun forces me not to.“You should try not to make it obvious you like him.” He turns his head to see Tammy in the distance and gestures for her to come over. She comes skipping over – into his arms. “Now, Tammy, don’t you think Jen here makes it hella obvious that she likes Zack?” Tammy looks at Tom then me.“Ya,” she shoves a handful of candies in her mouth. “But don’t worry about that know. We have a whole 2 week to think about it.” She looks at Tom and gives his a big kiss. “And by the way,” she says directing her attention back to me. “I have the pot!” We all laugh and begin to load into the car. Of course as fate would have it, I end up sitting next to Zack. “Anyone wanna trade,” I ask desperately. They just looked at each other and laughed. “Fine then,” I say turning back in my seat. “Be that way, you mother fucking hoe bags!” Zack looked at me and smiled.“Well ok then, shall we get going?” I look at him and smile goofily.“Ya,” I quickly turn my head hoping he didn’t see me blush. Everyone behind us began to laugh as I whipped around and glared at them. All they did was laugh more!
