A Forgoten Love (CH2)

"So," I say as I take a sip of coffee, "I heard you got married to that one girl out of hight school. What was her name again? Umm...."

"Reina," he said quickly. "We were going to but we moved in for a month and everything fell apart." He takes a sip of coffee and scrunches his face at it. "Blah," he said quickly refering to the coffee. "She partied to much and was a little to crazy for me."

"So who dumped who?" I grab a pack of sugar and pour in into my coffee.

"Well of you must know," he said while rolling his eyes, "She dumped me."

"Why?"

"She said I wasn't big enough for her." I could feel my eyes widen.

"Remember that time I was teasing you I was saying how it was probaly no bigger than and inch and then you wihped it out in front of me." he bagan to choke on his coffee.

"Ya," he said while coughing, "that was really ackward"

"I'll say." I sat there and looked into his eyes. There was somthing about them that was new. we locked in a gaze for what seemed like hours but was just a few seconds. Then my watch went off. "I look down to see the time. "Shit." I say quietly to myself.

"What?"

"I got to go." I stand up and get ready to leave when he grabs my hand.

"Why?" He looked puzzled.

"I promised I would give Cassie and Christine a ride back, i really have tio go."

"when will I see you again?"

"I'll call you, what's your number." I look around to see if I see either Cassie or Christine.

"The same as it was in jr. high."

"You haven't changed it?"

"Sadly no, do you still have it?"

"Yes I do. So I'll call you."

"Definatly."

"Ok. Bye." I begin to walk off.

"Goodbye," he calls after me.
