he walked home slowly. he hoped that he could shove Amy out of his mind before he exploded. he didn't want to think of Amy. he didn't want all this pain and heartbreak. he wanted a normal life. one with ups and downs, one where he could have a bit of control over everything. but now that he had fallen in love with Amy, he knew that the normal life would be nothing but a dream.

"I'm sorry, Amy. i really am. i know i'm an ass, i know that. i know how much you hate me, i know how much of a bitch you think i am." he said out loud, even though there was really no one to talk to .

"God, please let Amy forgive me. please get her to love me again. please put our relationship back together, amen." Anthony prayed. he opened his door and picked up the house phone. he had never told Amy his house phone, so she wouldn't recognize the number on the caller ID.

"Hello?"

"Hello? uh...is amy there?"

"This is Amy. who is this?"

"Uh...Anthony."

"Why do you bother? u know just as well as me that i hate you. you know that it's no use trying to apologize to me because i'll never accept your phony apology."

"It's not that. i'm calling to tell you something else."

"WHat?"

"You were right. i'm cracking already."

"I know. i told you that it was absolutely impossible for me to crack, so it had to be you. oh well, too bad. now you just have to leave me alone...for good!"

"But..." before he could even finish his sentence, the line went dead. Amy had hung up on him.
