Amy just stood there glaring at him. "Oh, don't worry. i know the reason why you just got mad. you just got mad because you think that i'm the one who's always pissing you off, don't you?"

"Yeah, but i wasn't gonna say it like that."

"Oh really? so you were just gonna say something mean in a really nice way? that 's the stupidest thing that i've ever heard of!"

"Amy, listen. i didn't mean to make you mad or anything. i just got mad because i'm just under so much stress right now and i was so tired and when i'm tired, i'm usually grumpy. please, Amy, you've got to understand."

"Yeah, i understand. who ever said i didn't? i told you i understood. i just can't believe you're such a bitch, that's all."

"Fine, then just leave me alone. you couldn't last a week without me."

"So now you're implying that i'm insecure. all right, fine. i'll 'leave you alone' for a week, and you do the same. let's see who cracks first."

"Deal. but there's got to be some penalty to the loser."

"Bring it."

"If i crack first, i swear on my life and my boys' lives that i'll stay away from you and not bother about you and just pretend that we never fought or never went out. but if you crack first, then you have to go out with me again. so is it a deal?" He put out his hand, waiting for Amy's response.

Amy shook his hand. "Yeah, it's a deal all right. you're a dumbass, Anthony. if i hate you this much, what makes you think being away from you is gonna make it any different?! looks like i just got myself some peace, but hey. i'm not here to judge, am i?" Amy snickered and walked away.

"Yeah? we'll see about that!" Anthony called after her, although he knew perfectly well that what Amy said was true. he was gonna crack first.
