Anthony waited. he was ready for anything-a yes or a no. "Well, Amy? i can't stand it any more. just tell me if you don't want to. just tell me your answer!"

"Anthony. listen carefully. i'll say yes. we're going out for one month, and one month only. if i'm not satisfied with you as a boyfriend, we're over, and it's permanent. but if you do turn out to be a pretty good boyfriend, we'll go out longer. but if i find out that this is just a part of the bet, i'll see to it personally that you will regret it."

Anthony was happy. he couldn't believe it. he was bracing himself for the worst news he could possibly get, and now he had the best news a man could ever get.

"Thank you, Amy. you have no idea how much that means to me." he said, getting up to give Amy a hug. "I'm sorry for what i did to you before, but everything's gonna be different now. this is a whole new relationship, ok? nothing ever happened between us, you never broke up with me, and i'm not part of a bet any more. it's just you and me, Amy, and i won't regret it."

"Hopefully you're telling the truth." Amy replied quietly. she didn't know if this was a bad decision. she hoped that Anthony was telling the truth, and that he lived up to her expectations to a good boyfriend. she pulled away from him and said, "Um...i was doing homework before you came, and i have a lot of it. then i need to do this stupid project, and after that my mom wants me to help her out with something. i'm really busy today. you're going to have to leave right now, because i'm trying to get everything done today."

"Let me help you out a bit. things will go a lot faster that way. here, let me see that instruction sheet for the project. i'll help you get started." he took the piece of paper and gathered the materials. Amy smiled. she had just lied to Anthony about her busy day. she went onto her yahoo messenger and went online. her best friend Julie was online as well.

"Heyyyy." Julie typed.

"Hey. ges wut?"

"Uh...u n Anthony(the hottie) r goin out."

"Yup. how'd u know?"

"I'm Julie. i no ere10."

"Well, we're goin out 4 1 month. juss 2 c how ere10 goes. ya know?"

"Smart."

"He's such a sweetheart. i lied to him about being bz n ere10, n he juss offers to help me. i didnt tell him 2."

"Awww...he's so sweet."

"I know. oh, he's back. i'll tlk2 u l8r."

"K. BYE."

"bye."

Amy clicked out of messenger and went on to google to find some information for her project just as Anthony walked in. maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all. besides, Julie was an 'expert in love' so if she ever ran into problems with Anthony, Julie would definitely be on her side. she printed out the few pages and went over to help Anthony finish her project.

"So, any regrets yet?" Anthony teased, but in a serious way. he looked at Amy for an answer.

"No, not yet. and hopefully no regrets ever."

"Yeah, hopefully. i promise, i'll be the best boyfriend EVER!"

"We'll see about that. now come on, it's due in two days. here's the info."

Anthony smiled. "Alright." he knew he would make Amy's life a whole lot better and he silently promised himself that Amy would not hate him as long as they were going out.
