I reached up and quietly as possble lowered the old collaspeable stairs. Every creak and moan the stairs made seemed as loud as a blow horn. When they were finaly down, I ran lightly up the stairs and painstakingly pulled the stairs back up with my heart jumping at every sound. I knew he was close, but I wasn't sure how close. I prayed with all my might to God that he didn't hear me. As soon as it was latched, I silently crawled to a corner and sat down with my knees pulled up to my chest. I took slow, deep breaths to calm myself so I could listen for his foot steps. After what felt like an eternity later, he finaly came. I could here the floor groan under each slow step he took. I could almost make a rythm out of it. Step. 1 heart beat. 2 heart beat. 3 heart beat. Step. Each step took him closer and closer to my hiding spot till he was right beneath me when he stopped. 1 heart beat. 2 heart beat. 3 heart beat. The cock of a gun. 1 heart beat. 2 heart beat. 3 heart beat.

lovehungercree AGH! My computer keeps screwing up! Every time it posts, it undos all my font and paraghs! It is a lot shorter then it really is because it makes the font smaller. I'm sorry to everyone cause I realy hate reading everything in 1 paragraph too! Please bare with me and i will try to see why my computer is doing this.
