A Good Nightmare (Ch7)

Suddenly, the strangest sensation went through my entire body. Everthing around me moved realy slowly. I turned my head to see a leaf falling from a tree at such a speed that hade a slug seem fast.

In doing so, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and ran head first into what felt like a brick wall, bounced off, and slid along the ground.

"...10...", His eyes were wide with suprise. "Well,...I'm astanished. You actualy made it."

"By the skin off my teeth," I said shakenly as I tried to stand up. My whole body was quivering and shaking with thousands of spasms needle sticking numbness.

Higerth smiled at me, but I could see is his eyes that he was a little ticked that I had made it. "I bet after a run like that you are pretty thirsty."

As soon as those words were uttered, I felt a thirst so strong that it felt like someone was trying to shove hot coals down my mouth. "Yes, sir." I replied. My voice sounded cracked.

When I uttered those words, Higerth's smile widdened and David looked like he was about to puke.

Higerth looked to his right. "Did you hear that Malicious? She's thirty. Why don't you get this young one a drink?"

Once again, Malicious smiled that wicked smile and vanished in a blink of a eye and returned before my next breath. He brought with him a young child, barely even 6 years old, and set her in front of me.
