She turned over in bed, still groggy from sleep. It was dark, and she peeked at the alarm clock. 4:42am, then she remembered last night and closed her eyes. Did that really happen? She asked herself. She rolled over, opened her eyes again, and muffled a scream.
“Didn’t scare you, did I, love?” Brandon asked, smiling sweetly.
Annie laid back against the pillows and breathed deeply several times before opening her eyes again. When she did, Brandon had himself propped up on one elbow, watching her. “I’ll take that as a ‘yes’ then?” He asked, raising one eyebrow.
“No, no.” Annie managed to say. “Well, maybe.” She closed her eyes and slowly shook her head. “Yeah I guess so… last night did happen then…”
“Yes, last night happened.” Brandon smiled and ran a finger down Annie’s neckline.
Her eyes popped open. “How’d you know what I just thought?”
“You said that aloud, love.” Brandon replied.
Annie went pale. “I… did?”
“Most deffenintly.”
Sighing, she propped herself up on her elbow and pushed her frazzled hair out of her face. “I coulda sworn that I’d said that in my head.”
“I heard ya loud and clear babe.” Brandon said, leaning over and kissing her collarbone gently. Annie caught her breath as the feeling of lust flowed through her sleepiness and awoke all her senses.
“Brandon…”
“Hmm??” He looked up from caressing her neckline and gazed deep into her eyes.
She hesitated, not sure to tell him or not. Oh why not? What could it hurt? You’ve already gone as far as anyone could go with someone. “I …love you.”

Brandon took Annie’s face in his hand, the one not holding him propped up on the bed, and caressed her soft skin. “I love you too babe.” He replied and kissed her gently on the lips. “Now,” He said when he pulled back. “It’s only 4:45am. Go back to bed babe.” He kissed her again, and laid her back down, covering her with the sheet and laying back down next to her. She’s so beautiful. He thought to himself. I can’t believe we did what we did. I’m never leaving her after that. I don’t care what anyone says.**********
Annie turned over to get comfortable. Just as she settled down, she felt Brandon’s arm snake around her and pull her close to him. Pressed against his warm body, she felt like nothing in the world could harm her. Ever. I never want to leave him. He’s so perfect! I can’t believe that last night actually happened! She paused and linked her fingers with his before her brain questioned her. Did you pick up all your clothes off the front lawn? Then she started arguing with her brain again. Well why would it matter anyways? Your parents aren’t due back for another 29 days! She sighed and closed her eyes again.
Brandon sat up in bed, causing Annie’s eyes to fly open. “What’s wrong?” She asked, startled.
