Do You Really Love Me? Part 6
|
As Laci layed on her bed thinking of Carlos, she begin to wonder if he is thinking about how mean she was to him. Her mother knocks at the door. "Come in". Her mother walks in and sits at Laci's computer desk. "Hey, how are you feeling", asks her mom. "I kinda feel like I was wrong for how I treated him", explains Laci. "Why don't you call and apologize?" "He may not except my apology." "Trust me, a guy like Carlos, he'll except." And then her mother gets up and walks out of the room. Laci looks over at her cell phone and decides to call. She picks up the phone and begins to dial his number.
*Ring....Ring....Ring....*
Carlos: So you decide to call
Laci: Yeah and I wanna say I'm sorry
Carlos: Uh-huh, whatever
Laci: What the hell is wrong with you
Carlos: Why did you yell at me
Laci: I was upset that you stood me up
Carlos: I didn't stand you up, I came didn't I
Laci: Where are you now
Carlos: I'm driving home, why
Laci: Come and get me
Carlos: Are you serious
Laci: Yes I'm serious
Carlos: Alright
Laci: Alright, bye Carlos
Carlos: Bye

Laci decided that she wasn't in the mood to go out. So she decided to change clothes. She put on her gray jogging shorts, white t-shirt, and some white flip-flops.
She went in the living room and waited for Carlos.
Her mother was fast asleep.
*Ding-Dong* The doorbell rings. Laci gets up and answers the door. Carlos is standing there in his same clothes. "Hey", says Laci. "Hey, are you ready to go", asks Carlos? "Yeah". Laci turns off all the lights and walks out of the door. She gets to the truck and gets in. Carlos gets in, cranks up the truck, and drives off.
"Carlos, are you still mad at me", asks Laci? "It don't even matter anymore", says Carlos. "Tell me", says Laci. "Laci, I love you and it doesn't anymore to you", says Carlos. "It does matter". "Why you never say it back?" "I'm just getting out of an relationship and I'm still wondering if he loved me." "What does that have to do with me?" "I just don't know if every guy I'm with loves me." Carlos looks over at Laci, whos eyes were begining water. He pulls the truck over to the side of the rode. "Laci, I really do love you. I found that out from the first time I meet you." "Carlos, I just don't know if I wanna get into an relationship right now." Carlos's face expression just changes into an suprised look. "Are you serious", asks Carlos? "Its not you, its me", says Laci. "That's what they all say", says Carlos. "What are you trying to say", asks Laci? "It is me, you just don't like me. Well if that's the case, why did you have sex with me?" "It's not you, you're a great guy. I just don't wanna be in this whole lovey-dovey routine again", explains Laci. "But Laci, I have true feelings for you", says Carlos. "I know you do", says Laci. "Just give me a chance", says Carlos. Tears start rolling down Laci's cheeks. "Carlos, I'm sorry", says Laci crying at the same time. "Laci stop crying." "I'm gonna be alright", says Laci. Carlos moves in and kisses Laci on the lips. She kisses him back. "Laci, I want you to be with me forever", whispers Carlos. "I can't", says Laci. Carlos sits back with his back on the truck's door. "Laci, I can't live without you", says Laci. "Well can we at least be friends for right now", asks Laci? "I don't want to, but I guess so", says Carlos. "So do you want me to continue to go to your house, or do you want to take me home", asks Laci? "I'll take you to my place", says Carlos in a sad way. Laci starts to feel bad about the situation, but she doesn't say anything. Carlos cranks up the car and continues to drive home.
