Kim: Ah...so ure an artist eh? This is a....nice....pic....
*Its of a street in town.....but, it has no sign of life: people, cars, not even the slightest hint of light is visable. The only form of light present in the picture is the sky....which is dark and cloudy itself.
Kim: Tell me this.....whats up with tha sky...and everythin else?
*Spike lifts his head up a little.
Spike:..........its how i see the world.....dark....lonely...and depressing. Its to a story......that i made a while back.....it reflects....how i feel
Kim: Then if its dark, i take it ure depressed. Whats wrong?
Spike:(raises his head).......well, since Jade and Rain've already toldja bout Vanessa, they outta tell the rest of this story. So....come on out girls.
*KIm looks at Spike confused, until she hears footsteps behind her. She turns around and sees Jade and Rain enter the poolroom.
Rain: Aight nigga, how tha f$!k you knew it wuz us?
Jade: Yeah, Id liketa know myself.
*Spike points to the mirror on the opposite wall.
Spike:....next time......dont peek round the corner of a room with a mirror in it.....
*They both look at each other and just shake their heads in disbelief.
Jade: Yeah, Ill remember that next time we spy on you.
*Jade and Rain take a seat on the bleachers
Rain: Hurs whats up...ol bo...
Jade: Rain....theres noone here. Itll stay with us 4..(looks at Spike and Kim) right?
*They both nod.
Rain: Aight....dat nigga too creepy fo ne1 ta come near, and i kno he'll keep it on tha low...an' i can trus u Kim.
*She clears her throat then leans on her knees.
Rain: (with a proper, northern accent) The thing is, Kim, even before Vanessa, Spike w.....?
*Kim and even Spike look at Rain in amazement.
Kim: I didnt know ure from up north!
Spike: ....wow....even i didnt know that...new one on me....
Rain: You honestly didnt know? Hmm...well anyway, we have a little confession....we lied when we said we met him in high school.
Jade: Thing is, we met when we were little. We grew up in tha same hood. He was a happy lil nigga, always playin games with tha majority of tha other kids, goin to parks to crawl through the bushes. You couldnt help but to've seen him.
Rain: Untill she came. She was a b&(!h in every sence of the word....but she was beautiful. Her name was Samantha.
Jade: Needless to say, Spike fell for Sam. He tried his hardest to win her heart, but everytime he tried, she shot him down.
Rain: Till one day, when he stopped trying to win her, Sam figured she'd mess with his head...so she lead him on by approaching him, getting to know him, and eventually, askin him out. She pretended to date him, walking together, holdin hands, her kissing him on the cheek...that sort of thing.
Jade: Thing was, everyone was in on tha joke, even we knew that she had a boyfriend. Jade and i tried to tell him that she wuz playin him, but he didnt believe us. Till one day, as he was leaving his house to join tha rest of us, he caught Sam and her BF kissin in front of everyone else. Her BF saw Spike and immediately backed away, but Sam just smiled, knowin she played both Spike and his best friend. Well, everyone cast her out of tha group from then on. Spike forgave him and remained friends.
Rain: And heres tha kicker....his friend is here in this school...take a wild guess....
*Kim looks at both girls, then turns to Spike, who's head is now hanging lower than it was before. As Kim realizes who it is...
Voice from behind: That look on your face must mean that u know who they speak of....
*this is gettin heated.....come back to c how this ends!!!
