Kim: So, youre tellin' me that you did him...and yet you leave em like that? That aint rite and you know it!!
*Jade sits up in her seat, looks around, than leans closer to Kim.
Rain:~sigh~.....aight...so i hook'd up wit tha niggah ok!! ~eats a spoon of pudding to calm her nerves~ But hurrs tha foo-one, he mite b a weird-a@, oreo-like mutha, but he b nice than any otha nigga i seen hurr....that nigga Royce second. Nigga help'd a gurl out with hur 3's, ya feel meh? Ya gurl couldnt shoot em fuh s%@!..till Spike helped meh. Nah look atcha gurl!!
Jade: Thats tha good thing about him....he's a sweetie. He's helped me out a few times....back when I was new here at school. I had broken up with my man shortly b4 comming here. I cried my eyes out on tha first week....till Spike asked me whats wrong. He listened.....and helped me get over him. That made me so happy that......
Kim:Lemme guess....u too?
*Both Kim and Rain nod.
Kim:Wow......wai...hold up, if he's that wonderful of a guy, then y'd you both break up with him? What happened?
Jade and Rain:(same time, monotone) I left for another guy...
*Kim looks at them with disbelief
Kim: Well.....did it wo.......
*The lunch bell rings, signaling the start of 5th period. As Jade and Rain gather their books and take their trays to the trashcans, Kim looks at her container and remembers that she didnt eat her lunch.
Rain: D%(m gurl, who u got fo naw?
*Kim takes a folder out of her bag, flips through 2 pages, then pulls out her class sheet.
Kim:........um......Mr. Carson. Why?
*Rain smiles
Jade: Then youre in luck girl. He's a cool teacher, we both used to have em. He's cool, so heat your food up then hurry to his class.
*Kim gives both girls a *thank you* nod, grabs her bag and starts to run to the counter with the microwave. She stops in her tracks and thinks for a minute.
Kim: Dang!! I forgot to ask what class is he in!
*As Kim turns around to ask both girls, she's stopped by a low, almost mumbling voice from behind.
Voice:.......214......second floor...
*Kim turns around and finds Spike slowly walking past her, heading for his class.
Spike:......oh, and watch yourself....
*He then looks to his right.
Spike:......you might have a popularity problem.....
*Kim, with a puzzled look on her face, looks to her right and notices that over half of the guys in the lunch room are staring at her, as though they were planning something.....something not good.
Kim:*worried voice* But how di-
*She turns around, only to see Spike gone. She looks around the lunchroom for him, but is nowhere to be found.
*Kim shakes off her worry and runs to the microwave to warm up her food, and just as the timer goes off.......
