Online

       I was sitting in front of my old computer.  It was 1:12 am.  I was searching for some of my friends on Myspace, but no one was on.  When I got bored I decided to open my Aim to see if anyone was on there, but no one.  Then I heard thunder, and I could hear the eerie tree hit against my window.  I was thirteen, but I'm still afraid of the dark.  I decided to shut my eyes for a while to get the images of the scary tree out of my head.  Before I knew it, I was fast asleep.  Then I heard my Aim go off, some text me; but at three in the morning!  I opened the message and it said,

      "Hello there Emma..."

      I did not respond, not knowing it was.  I then looked up the name of the user.  It was Wolfx00.  I didn't know who it was so I wrote back asking who they were.  I figured that it was my older sister, Nadia.  She always liked to play pranks on me.  So right after I sent the message I went to go to my sister's room.  I tip-toed past my mother and father's room, and past my little brother, Cole's room.  Down the hall my sister's door was open, and a strange light was shining through.  I opened the door, yelling.

     "Okay!  I'm not afraid...  I know that your Wolfx00!  Nadia," I yelled at her.  But only waking her up, she was in her bed, and the light was her TV on some horror night movie.  I bit my tounge for a second as she stood to her feet. 

     "Are you crazy?  Do you wanna wake Cole up and have to make him go back to sleep?!  What's your problem," she said while shoving me against her door.  Then all of a sudden cries came out of my baby brother's room, and our parents were standing by the door, turning the light on.

     "What's going on here?  Nadia what are you doing, let her go.  Emma, go back to your room while we talk to Nadia,"  My father, Jeff, said angreily as he rubbed his eyes.  My father was very strict, and my mother followed him around like a lost puppy, therefore, she too was strict.  My mother, Wendy, and I walked out of the room.  I went back to my room, meanwhile my mother went ointo Cole's room, trying to console him.  Cole was the most spoiled little brat ever, being the only boy.

     When I got back I noticed that my computer read "One new message," so I opened it.

     "Do woory about who I am, Emma.  Let's focuse on you now..." it said.

     I pondered over it for a while, a little intimadated by the fact it knew my name.  It couldn't be my sister then.  I was just in her room.  I heard the cries of my brother stop as th hallway lights shut off once more.  And the eerie darkness and silence took over my entire house once again.  Then the sound of a new message shattered the silence.

      It said, "I'm not your sister, nor do you know me.  Don't start another mishap with your brother again.  Your parents might find you talking to a strange man..."  at this point I was ready to get my mom and dad, but then another message came, breaking the silence yet again.  I turned my computer on silent, then I opened the message.

     "Don't get your parents, they won't help you now.  Only your screams can save you now."  it said.  I started shaking, looking over at the window, I quickly closed my pink blinds.  Then I recieved another message.  it read "I can still see you."  I began to cry as I searched throughout my room, looking for anything, a camera, a recorder, anything, but I found nothing.  I then got another message.  "Let's talk, Emma.  I want to play a game with you.  Your choice, just remember all of those people you care about, exspecially you..."

     I wrote back asking again who it was.  But no answer...  I then starting to get mad, but still afraid.  I walked out of the room to get my parents.  I brought them in my room to show them the messages, but the screen was blank.  I made them wait anxiously as I looked through all of my messages, but nothing.  They then walked away after tucking me in.  They turned the lights off and the lightning was the source of light now.  I peered out my window as the door creaked shut.  The sound of the raindrops were soothing, yet creepy.  Then my message screen came up once more.

     "I told you not to get them, I am angry now.  Turn around, face your closet.  Then tell me what you see."  it read... I was tinglely all over at this point.  I turned around, though, I had goosebumps.  When I turned around, the lightning lit the room, and a man smoking a ciggerate was there.  I tried to scream, but as I opened my mouth, nothing came out, just air.  I man grabbed my softball bat and came after me.  I was so scared I couldn't move.  I turned pale, and looked as if I were a deer caught in headlights.  He took a good swing at me and I woke up, in my bed.  I had a headache like no other.  I stood to my feet as I saw my bat in the corner.  My computer still on.  I heard the birds chirping and saw the sun shining.  I looked on my screen and it read two new messages.

     "Hey, Emma, wat's up girlee?" from sk8erboi84, my crush Shane.  I didn't respond, I was more worried about the next message.

     "Morning sunshine, you had some night there, huh?  I told you not to get them...  How's your head?"  I began to shake again as I peered over my shoulder into the corner once again.  Just my bat was there...
