      When she left she had no tears in her eyes left.  As she past Troy, I could see that she gave him and me the dirtiest look ever!

      "What was that all about?  I saw the look she gave you," I asked.

      "She's still angry, and is going to try to double-cross us.  I know how she works," Troy answered to my surprise...

       "What going on!  Really?  I know that your lying.  I thought we said after Isabella, no secrets!  I can tell that your lying," I blurted out.

       "Isabella?  That happened almost two years ago and your still hanging onto that!?  I thought that after she apoligized, everything was alright?"  Troy asked...

       "Never mind then!  But no secrects!  Tell me now, before we get married!"  I yelled out, holding back tears of  the thoughts of that wreched women coming back.

       "I just can't tell you.  I'm sorry," Troy said sencerely.  "But maybe this will help?"  He said as he reached into his pocket.  He then pulled out a small black box.  He got on his knee and stood before me and said, "Let's make it official,"  As he opened the box, revealing the most beautiful ring I ever saw.

      Oh, how I wanted the diamond ring.  But would this mean every time he wanted to get out of a fight he would bribe me?  Who cares?  It was beautiful!  I figured let him win this one...  Then I came back to my senses, and urged him to his feet...

      "Yes, it is beautiful, but is this a bribe?" I ask.

       He looked up and down, hurt.  Then he said "Of course not.  I was going to give this to you earlier, but my mom came down.  I love you so much,"

      "I forgive you," I went on, "Please just tell me what happened.  Please, or how can I ever trust you?"

      "Fine...  A long time ago, Alyssa was just born.  And my mom just found out about Randy.  I was only six.  Randy was twelve.  My dad just brought Randy over for the first time...  I of course already met him.  My mom and my dad got into a huge fight,  my mom ran out of the house.  And my dad followed her.  He never came home.  My mom kicked him out, never to come back.  But three years ago he did.  To get custody of me, Randy, and Alyssa.  But then, he died, somehow.  I don't know how though.  It's much easier to say he went on a bussiness trip...  That's when Randy flipped out, and ranaway.  Then, he was picked up by the police for robbery.  My mom doesn't want to bail him out now."

      I stared in amazement, how well he can handle it.  Then I went on and said, "Wow, that must be hard...  When I was born my father said that I was a mistake, and since Adam had a different dad, he left.  Then came Sam, he fixed up my mom's life.  Then she cheated on him with my second step-dad, Tim.  After Tim tried to kill her, then killed himself, Jim came.  I was only seven when she married Jim.  I hated and still hate Jim the most.  He would beat me and my mom.  And when my mom was pregnant with my little sister, Jenna, he stabbed her in the stomach, killing Jenna.  He would always beat me, I just wore long shirts and pants.  Finally abuse wasn't enough, he tried to rape me, but Adam saved me.  Then we went to the police, but they didn't believe a seven year old and a twelve year old.  So we tried to run away together.  We got caught.  My mom sent Jim to jail, and for a while she was doing good.  But when Jim got out, she went back to him, but since then he hasn't laid a hand on me." I sobbed.

      "Wow, I thought I had it bad," He took in surprise.  "Adam really loved you, huh?"

       "Yeah, he was my guardian angel," I cried out into his warm arms. 

      "No more secrets," He said as we held each other closely.

      "I love you," I said while wiping the tears from my eyes.

      "I love you so much.  Marry me soon,"Troy answered.

       "Yes, when?" I asked

        "I don't know but soon," He said as he through me onto the bed, kissing me all over.

        I allowed it,  One thing led to another, and before we knew it, it was over.  We did it...  I closed my eyes as he laid there next to me, naked!  I kissed him once more on the forehead when his mother came down.

       "Get out now!  Get out!  You have fifteen minutes to get out!  Both of you!" she screamed, obvisiously hearing our conversation before...

       We hurried and got dressed, gathered up our stuff, luckily mine was still in the two boxes.  Grabbed food, and some money.  In ten minutes the once lively filled room, turned into a desolent basement.  We ran out the door, Troy pleading with his mom, and me carrying everything to his car.

       We got everything into the car and pulled out of the driveway.  We pulled into a Seven Eleven parking lot were I began to cry.

       "We have little food.  Almost no money.  And no one is on our side!" I screamed then I looked down into my hand, holding the very valuable ring.  "We can pawn it!" I whispered.

       Looking hurt, he understood and said yes.  He took it into the pawn shop nearby, and came out holding several hundred dollar bills, and the black ring box!

      "Here in place of your ring.  Nothing special, but when we get married, you need some sort of ring, right?" Troy said sweetly.  I smiled at him, as he got into the car and  pulled the door shut.  "Seven hundred dollars," he said.

      With my jaw opened wide I kissed him on the lips.  "Tomorrow," I said.  "Tomorrow we get married.  I know where we can get married at.  Two hours away, West Virginia! 

      He smiled at me and we began to drive south to West Virginia...
