Married at Fifthteen... 2

Romance Created on 3-16-08 Views(321) Story Rating G

I heard silence, that and my mom crying in the next room.  But Troy was speechless, for once.  But I could hear that he did drop the phone, and picked it back up.  There was an awkward silence for a moment, then I said that I would be over soon.

I gathered up the two boxes and headed outside, into the cold.

"Hey!  Where do you think your gonnin' lil' missy?  Answer me when I'm talkin' to you,"  My step-father said while taking another sip of his half-way gone beer covered in a brown bag.

"Nowhere, I'm not telling you.  And I'm not coming back,"I said while making my way from my house to the front yard.

"Nowhere?  Nowhere?  Nowhere!!!  What does that mean?  It's not a real answer...  Now if you said 'Oh, I'm gonna go over to my stupid little boyfriend's house, because I'm a lil' slut!'  Now if you would say that then that would be better than nowhere!" My step-father yelled and screamed, mockingly.

Enraged in digust and annoy, I yelled out to him, "He's not my boyfriend!  He's my fiance!  And I'm never coming back, you good for nothing!  You sold all of my stuff for drug money!  Tell Adam I'm going."

"Ha ha ha ha..." He chuckles  "For one, Adam died so long ago.  You would of known if you came here more often!  Two, We sold it to keep the house.  And three, what are you doing with a fiance!  You're only thirteen!"

My eyes filled with tears as I blurted out, "I'm fifthteen!" And I ran off carelessly.

That was one week ago from today.  The best, and worst day of my life...

Troy had asked if I would stay the night, I gratefully did, and we have been here in his basement since.  Randy never comes home, he just went to jail too.  His mom, Judy, is always working or at PTA meetings for Alyssa.  Alyssa is either over someone's house or is in her room.  And I still never met his dad, Michael.  He has always been on so-called bussiness trips.  Troy too had a difunctional family, but they hid it very well.

Troy and I were laying on his bed, watching some re-runs of Home Improvment.  Troy then leaned over to kiss me, but fell off the bed.  I chuckled then helped him up.  We went back to watching TV.  Once again he leans over to kiss me, but his mom comes down.

"Don't mind me, guys, I''m not even looking.  I'm just getting some laundry.  Oh, honey you should really clean up this room." Judy says trying to shield her eyes but can't help to look.

I lean over to him as his mom walks into the laundry room.  Then I whisper into his ear.

"Hun, I really think that we should tell your mom now.  It's been seven days,"

"Seven days of what," His mom eavesdrops into our conversation.

We jump up and sit ourselves on the couch.  Then I look over to Troy, and Troy looks at me.  Man, he had the prettiest green eyes!  Then we both looked into his mom's eyes.

"Oh, God!  She's pregnant isn't she?" She guesses.

       "No!" We both studder

"Listen Mom, Juli and I love each other.  We really do!  So to make it official, we're getting married." He mother froze as the deadly silence took over the room.  Only to be interrupted by the screach of the washing machine.  She looks over to me and manages to pull off a fake smile.  I leave to give them time to talk.  I used the suck-up points and did the laundry.

As I began to put the wet clothes into the dryer, a wallet fell out.  I quietly opened it.  It was damp, but still good.  I opened to see that it belonged to a Michael Lucas, his father.  It had cash in it, a few condoms, two broken.  A bussiness card for some girl called "Lily Lovers, the Goods," his driver's lisence, and some pictures.  I carefully look at the pictures.  A picture of him and some girl by Disney-Land.  A photo of him and another girl by the Grand Canyon.  Another photo of a different girl outside of a night club.  And many more of him and different women, including Judy, outside of exotic places.

I heard that their conversation was over, so I neatly tucked the wallet back into the pants.  I didn't say anything, as Judy gave me dirty looks.  I looked down, ashamed.

"You get out now!  Now," She commands

"Mom, no!" Troy argues.  "Fine I'll take my fiance and child somewhere else!  On the streets maybe,"  Troy said I paused for a moment.  Did he say "Our child?"
