       As we made our way closer and closer to the glowing in the distance, we heard screams.  Screams in terror, but I already knew what was going on.  Still weak, I stayed ahead, eager to find out what it was.  Then the glowing began to fade away, along with the screams, as daylight came.  We ran faster and faster, but the glow was gone.  We then follow the path farther and farther.

      "Help us!  Help, help us," Two faint, yet vivid little voices call out as another orande glow appears.  Then I knew what was going on... A fire.

       "It's a fire," I call out to Riley and the others.  Then I remember what Riley said about being close to Earth Village.  "Oh no! Please let me be wrong for once," I whisper in terror as we get closer to the now hot flames.

        We sneak around the glow, defintly a fire.  We follow the path farther, avoiding the fires, only to arrive at the gates of... Earth Village.  I begin to cry, thinking about our letter.  Then Riley assures me that we travelled too far for our father to be ahead of us.  We enter, only to be greeted by the flames of  houses, and the ashes of one house.  Our Grandmothers house!  I break down in tears as a fireman comes over to us.

       "Some shame huh?  Miss was a nice old woman.  Some nerve of an arsonist, yeah.  Now we need to make contact with her family," He spoke, obvisiously not knowing us.  Then Riley spoke,

      "Yes, Grandma was the best." Then the fireman immeditly reconized us.

       "Riley?  Madelyn?  It's you!  I can't believe my eyes.  I haven't seen you since you were only a wee scout." He answered "It's me, Robbie.  Remember Tollin, my son?  Madelyn, you used to play with him all of the time when you came to visit!"

       "Robbie?  Oh, wow..." I said while wiping the tears from my eyes.  Tollin then ran over to his father. 

       "All of the fires are out, Pop.  Two past, one injured.  Who ya' talkin' to Pop? Tollin said anxiously.

       "Riley, and Madelyn, and friends," Robbie responds.

        Tollin takes a good look at me once more. 

        "Oh wow!  Hi," He says.

         We say our hello's and introduce Tristian, Matt, and Frankie.  Then Robbie hovers over us and says:

         "Ya' comin' to visit Miss?  Ya' can stay with me 'til we can call your momma," 

          I look up at the tall fireman and say, "Well... umm... That's why we're here.  Our father..." Riley then stops me and finishes my sentance

          "Our father left our mother..." She says.

          I look at her with a confused look on my face "What?" I ask

          She then whispers to me, "Father obviously is the arsonist, I mean Grandma's house?  Tristian's unlce's house?  He did it, which means that he still in town... We can't let him know that we are here..."
