        I am the luckiest girl in the whole world! I'm fifthteen, popular, in love, pretty, and most importantly, engaged!  My name is Juli, and I am engaged to the most wonderful guy named Troy, who's sixteen.  He's the sweetest guy ever.

       Last week, Friday night, Troy asked me on a date, and of course I accepted.  I sat down in my seat, anxiously awaiting for Troy to arrive with his "Big news."   I stare out the window into the black starry sky.  I look down at the snow, and look around for him.  I finally saw him, wearing his black blazer, it must be a big event!  As he slowly walks through the doors, thoughts began to race throughout my mind.

      "What if he was here to break up with me?  Or worse..." I stopped that thought immediantly.  I remember that this was the resturant he first asked me out.  Two years ago...

       Troy looks at my life-less face.  He sits himself down, and shakes my hand gently.

       "Hello, hun," He says to me as he leans over the table to kiss me.  Then accidently spilt my iced tea on the ground.  He quickly jumps down in embarassment.  "Are you okay? I'm so so sorry," He says.

        I look under the table and tell him that I'm fine, even though some of my drink did spill on me.  I urge him to come up, and his face was all red. 

        "So what was that 'Big news' you had for me?" I anxiosly awaiting the news.

         "Not yet," he says just as the red in his face began to recede and his gorgious tan skin fades back as he finally gets his sweet kiss.  And as he leans back he hits his head on a waitor's tray and cranberry sauce drips down onto his brown hair.  The sauce drips down onto his good blazer, and even though he was annoyed he kept cool, but still ran off to the bathroom.

         I waited for twenty minutes until he came back.  I smiled at him when he took me hand and he said

         "Do you wanna head back to my house?  My mom is at my sister's PTA meeting until ten, then goes to her second job until three.  My little sister is over some friend's house.  And my dad is in Detriot, on bussiness.  We can hang out.  That is if you want to?  Juli?"

         "Yeah that's fine," I reply still feeling pity for him.

          He pays the bill, and together we jump into his car.  About eight, we pull up to his house and head into his room in the basement.  He had a small three bedroom one-story house.  He had one older brother, Randy, and one younger sister, Alyssa.  Randy was eighteen and was about to get kicked out, but until, Troy stays in the basement.  It was a nice basement.  Very big too.

         We plop down on his bed, and he turns on the radio.  Then he runs over to his mini-fridge and grabs two Hostess cupcakes, a Pespi for him, a Mountain Dew for me, and strawberries.  We sit down on his couch, and eat and make out.  He pulls away and feeds me a strawberry.  I joke and moan a little, and together we laugh.

        "Hey hun...  How long have we known each other?" He asks me

        "Umm... I don't know five six years?" I answer with a confused look on my face.

        "Okay, how long have we been dating?" He asks again

        "Umm... Two years," I answer again with a confused look on my face. 

        "Two years!  So long, do you love me," He asks once more.

        "Of course!  Why are you asking all of these questions?"  I yell.

        "Okay I'm sorry.  But one more please?"

        "Fine," I answer

        "Okay well, will you marry me?" He asks

        I stare blankly into his eyes.  And begin to cry.  I then answer,

        "I'm only fifthteen!  We're too young, I'm sorry." I cry out.

        "I understand, at least try to think about it, please." He said discouragely, but all ready knowing the answer.

         I walk out of the room, using the excuse that I don't feel good.  I then walk five blocks to my house.  I open the door to my house, I could tell my mom was home.  Broken glass, torn pictures, ripped up clothing, half burned ciggerates, and blood spots on the carpet.  Yep, my mom was home.  I have only one older brother, Adam, but he is in the Marines.  I see my mom, Christie, Lying on the floor, crying and bleeding.  Yep, Jim was here too!  The whole happy family, not.  Jim was my third step-dad, and my least favorite.  I walk past my mother, if I didn't then I would get beaten as well.  I walked into my room, everything was gone!  Everything execpt my mattress, posters, pictures, and a few boxes in the corner with clothes and memories in it.

       I slam my door shut and reach deep into my purse, looking for my phone, I called Troy.

       "Troy, It's Juli, and I really thought about it...  My answer is yes!  I will marry you..."
