In science they were studying about Newtons laws of motion and energy. But nobody really ever cared. They were split up into groups of four to do this experiment that was pointless. The only good thing was that Sarah's group was her, Brooke, Hannah and Jon.

After about 30 minutes, the class stopped for a bathroom break. All of the class had to go outside in the hall even if they didn't have to go. Sarah didn't like using public restrooms so she stood against the wall. Then she heard Bri say...

"Hey Brooke will you go out with Jon?"

Now Sarah knew that even though Brooke didn't like anyone, everyone liked her. What wasn't to like. She had a cute face, blonde hair, all the cool and expensive brand name things and she played soccer. Everyone liked her.

But hearing this made Sarah's heart sink waaay down. She thought that he was purposely trying to make her feel bad and awkward. Then she remembered that Bri was one of those people who love asking people out for others. Maybe she was just making it up.

"Ew no I'm not going out with him."Brooke said

Sarah sighed with relief but no one heard her...which was good. But Bri didn't seem to hear Brooke so she asked again. Hearing Brooke decline again reassured her so she just forgot about it.
