Friends & Lovers [8]

     I arrived home around 8:30.

     Home, sweet home.

     My mom was in the living room watching TV.

     “Hey honey.”

     “Hey mom.”

     “So how's Roddy?” she said while still staring at the television.

     “He’s fine.”

     “Did you tell him I said hi?”

     “Yea.” Oops. “Well, I’m going to go take a shower, okay?”

     “Okay. Oh, Remy, honey, could you put the dishes in the dishwasher please? And turn it on. Thanks honey.” No wonder she was calling me honey.

     I head to the kitchen and put in the disgusting dirty dishes in the stupid machine, I fill that stupid little thing full of that stupid liquidy soap, and I turn that stupid knob and the stupid machine starts to make that stupid noise as it turns on. I hate putting in those stupid dishes.

     I head to my room to grab my pajamas and some clean undergarments and then head to the shower.

     Yes, the shower. No, I can’t take a nice, long, cool bubble bath. Unlike many other families that live in their stupid little two story houses with a lot of bedrooms and nice bathrooms that have big bath tubs, ahem…Roddy, we don’t. We live in a one story house that has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of our bathrooms has a shower and the other has a tub. I don’t fit in that tub. My legs are too freakin long.

     I take a long, cool bath that relaxes me. I start wondering about what Roddy and I could do tomorrow. I get out of the shower and dress.

     I head to the kitchen and as I pass through the living room I find my mom asleep on the couch. Wow, how long did I take? I go into the kitchen, turn on the lights, grab a glass of water, and chug it down.

     I go over to my mom.

     “Mom.” I touch her arm and shake her gently. “Mom.”

     “Hmm?” She opens her eyes just barely. “What? What happened?” She says as she sits up.

     “You fell asleep on the couch. Come on, lets get you to your room.”

     “Oh. Yeah. I fell asleep. What time is it?” She says as she stands up from the couch.

     I look over to the clock above the TV. “Its 10:16.”

     “Oh.”

     “Come on.” I tell her as I turn off the TV along with the lights from the kitchen and the living room. She stumbles over to her room, half asleep.

     I brush my teeth, kiss my mom goodnight and go to my room. Yes, I still kiss my mommy goodnight. I’d say goodnight to my sister but it looks like her lights are off so maybe she is already asleep.

Hey you guys =]. Sorry it took so long for this part to come out. School sucks balls and homework can suck my balls.* 2cnd week of school and I haven’t done all of my homework. That’s not good. I was supposed to try hard this year. Darn. Hehehehe and what’s funny is that you guys had to wait long for this part and it totally sucks balls and it‘s not even that long. HAHAHAHAHA!

* Sorry if that sounded weird. I’m a girl and I don’t have balls. Its just something I say a lot.
