Just the other day, me and my friends, Michelle Olsen and Becky Brady, were all getting ready to go to a concert down at the York Fair this afternoon to see my favorite country bands Emerson Drive and Rascal Flatts. I just couldn’t wait any longer! I love them both! Once Michelle and I met up with Becky at her house, her mom, Teresa, was taking us to the concert and back. Her mom drove a 1999 Dodge Durango, which looked pretty good, but it sounded like a rubber duck, being squashed, over and over again. “Amber, did you remember the tickets?” Michelle questioned. “Yeah, they’re right here in my purse pocket.” I replied. “Ok! I’m just making sure, so we don’t have to go the whole way back to your house, because you forgot them. I don’t want to waste one minute. I want to see Emerson Drive and best of all, Rascal Flatts!” she said, excitingly. “I know they are the best! I can’t wait till we get there.” Becky said. Once we got to the Giant Center in Hershey, where all three of us are going to meet the members of Emerson Drive and Rascal Flatts. This is a dream that all of us have been waiting for. Michelle and I went up to take our seats while Becky went to go get us all food. We were so hungry, that we could probably eat a mega pizza that is about the size of Mars. Becky got back and it was about an hour till show time. I figured that I would go get my self a t-shirt of both of my favorite bands, but when I realize Lily Foster was at the t-shirt stand, controlling the cash register, I had to say hi. Something was different about her. My best friend since kindergarten never said hi to me. I was stunned! I never would have thought she would be working here, especially when she told me that she absolutely hated country music. I left the stand and went to go get the three of us some snacks like popcorn, cotton candy, and maybe even some peanuts. I got to the counter and I thought some one had said my name, but wasn’t sure. So, I looked back and I saw my pen pal, Joann Hess. She is the best. I asked how she was doing and stuff like that. She also told me she was in row 1, which was the same as Michelle, Becky, and I. She was going to be right beside us. We walked back to our seats and the concert started in five minutes. Just enough time to munch down on some tasty snack I bought for everyone, which was the bomb!
