Melissa                                                                                                                        

Melissa was sitting on a stool behind the front counter and saw Joann walk in through the front enterance, sad and gloomy. Melissa climbed over the counter and walked over to her, letting her know she can sit down, and she did.

"Joann, what is this all about?" Melissa questioned.

"I have a major dilemma and I need your help." Joann responded.

"I'm your friend I'm always here to help." she smiled.

Joann smiled back. "You know that I slept with Jay and Rebecca had caught us two in bed, right?"

Melissa nodded.

"Well, you see I've been thinking. Jay wanted to start a life with me, but I knew I couldn't, because I have feelings someone else."

"Who is this someone?" Melissa elbowed Joann in the arm.

She looked to the ground though. "See that's the problem. I don't know if I can tell you." she replied.

"What do you mean?" Melissa asked.

"Melissa it's you. I love you! Out of all the years of us being friends, I realized that I want to be more than just friends with you. I don't know why I didn't think of this before."

Melissa's jaw dropped. Joann leaned closer to her and pressed her lips against Melissa's. She didn't push away. She actually enjoyed it, as much as she hated to admit it.

Joann pushes her into the back room and lies her on the couch, getting on top of her.

"Make love to me Melissa." Joann whispered.

Melissa didn't want to, but something inside her was urging her to do it. She knew she'd regret it.

Rebecca                                                                                                                       

Rebecca cried her eyes out, but couldn't understand why. She was done with Jay, but she still loved him. Knowing that he was literally making out with her best friend, just made things worse.

"I can't still like him after all he's done," she mumbled aloud. "He's the one that's put me through so much pain."

Her blood pressure was rising as she threw a book at the wall, with rage. She pulled her hands up to her face, and cried some more.

Then there was a knock on the door again.

"Go away!" Rebecca yelled.

"Please Becca I wanna talk it out. Please let me in." Jay begged.

"No," she replied.

"Becca, I love you," he said, hoping she would listen.

"I still love you too," she whispered, not knowing that he had heard her.

"What did you just say?" he asked.

Rebecca's eyes grew wide. Shit!

Kyle                                                                                                                              

Kyle drove in his car for a while since he left Jay standing in the middle of his driveway, confused and probably hurt. He pulls into the parking lot in where Melissa works. Melissa and Kyle have been besties since they were tots. They love each other to death, but only as friends.

As he walks in through the door he looks around the coffee shop. No one around.

"Hello?" Kyle shouts.

That's odd? Melissa doesn't get off for a few more hours yet. He said to himself.

He heard a big bang in the back room as if something had fallen off a shelf or something. He ran through the back room doors and sees something he never would have expected. He was heartbroken inside for some reason. He loved Melissa, but just as a friend, but seeing his friend kissing another girl, he thought he was going crazy.

"How could you?" Kyle hollered.

Joann and Melissa stopped kissing and look over at Kyle, practically full of sorrow.
