At the window...
Sophie could hear Jake pounding on the door. He hadn't noticed yet that Sophie had gone outside.
Anya had opened the window enough for Sophie to crawl through. Sophie locked the window securely and closed the curtains.
"Anya," Sophie whispered. "Hide under your bed."
Anya crawled under her bed, then waiting for her mother to tell her the next move.
Sophie kneeled down and started putting things in front of Anya, hiding her appearance. She put rows of shoes and a few stuffed animals until Anya couldn't be seen.
Sophie whispered again. "Stay there, keep quiet, and dont move." Sophie stood back up, noticing that Jake was no longer pounding at the door.
Everything was quiet, and Sophie was a bit scared, but continued with her plan...
