Who stood at the door?
Jake.
Jake stood at the door, holding his hands behind his back.
"Jake! What are you doing here?" Sophie asked, holding her phone tight in her hands, just in case.
Jake coughed and looked into her eyes. "I'm here to our child. And to see you. And the child you will soon be giving birth too." Jake reached out to rub Sophie's growing tummy.
Sophie backed away, grabbed his hand and shoved it away. "Anya is not our child. And the child I have growing inside me is nothing of yours. Now get off my property." Sophie tried slamming the door, but Jake blocked it with his foot.
Sophie pushed on the door, but Jake squeezed in. He grabbed Sophie's arm and pushed her to the ground. "I know Anya is mine." He looked up, as the small child came stumbling in.
"Mommy!!" Anya rushed over to Sophie, as Sophie struggled to sit up.
"Anya. Go to your room." Sophie said, trying her hardest to stand up.
Anya nodded and turned to walk down the hall, but Jake stopped her.
"Anya, honey, come here." Jake said, Anya stopping, then running to her room. Anya slammed the door and pushed the lock button.
Jake pounded on the door and kicked at it. It didn't do anything.
Sophie had gotten up and grabbed her phone. She ran outside and to the front side of the house and knocked at Anya's window.
Anya peeked through the curtains and nervously smiled as she tried pushing her window open.
"Hurry Anya." Sophie whispered.
