In the shower, at Sophie's house...
Sophie was quiet, washing away the shampoo and conditioner. The night was peaceful and quiet. She laid down in bed, turned on the TV, and snuggled with Charlie and Furt.
"It's a girls night, huh?" Sophie said, the two dogs turning to face her.
Sophie got up and the dogs followed her to the kitchen. She prepared a feats of doggy food with doggy ice cream. Then she made herself a vanilla shake with Reese's cups and graham crackers. And sprinkles. She also grabbed two little cartons of milk and headed upstairs.
After the dogs had each finished their sundaes, she filled each of their bowls with milk. Then she settled down and finished her ice cream bowl.
She watched Sarah Michelle Gellar play as Buffy Anne Summers, fighting demons, having wld sex with Spike, and singing songs.
"She's so cool." Sophie said, taking a huge bite of vanilla ice cream and graham cracker.
The phone next to her bed rang, and Furt barked her high-pitched bark, her spiked collar vibrating.
Sophie shushed her and picked up the vintage cord phone.
"Hello?" Sophie said, now taking a rather small bite.
"Sophie!! Are you home alone?" Jake said from his cell phone, in his car. Juym was laying the back seat, panting.
"Yeah. Why?" Sophie said, finishing the ice cream and set the bowl on the ground for the pups to share the scraps.
Jake turned on the A/C and Juym was satisfied. "Because I'm heading over. Juym's here too, but I figured we could have a romantic evening and leave the dogs out in the hall."
"Sure..."
