Problems Arise...
Jake looked up at Sophie. "What? What's wrong?" He looked down at Brigette and turned her over on her back.
Sophie screamed and stood up. "Help!! HELP US!!"
A lifeguard or three came over and a crowd gathered.
Lifeguard One tried doing CPR. But it didn't work.
Someone called the Police and the Police called the Corenor.
"No! Brigette!! No!!" Sophie screamed through tears as they carried her body away in the big black bag. Sophie fell to her knees and Charlie and Furt and Juym gathered around her to try and comfort her. She opened her tear-filled eyes and looked at Furt, who was in front of her. "Oh....Furt." She looked down again, not able to bear the pain.
Murmurs of grief from the crowd dispersed as everyone left the beach. Sophie got up and looked around. Empty and bare. It seemed like her perfect day just turned into a nightmare...
Jake and Sophie took the dogs back to the hotel and everything was quiet. Today was the first day of July and Brigette's room was booked until the start of August.
Jake went down to the lobby and took care of everything.
The hote staff was nice enough to give them two weeks free of their room and took off all of Brigette's room charge.
When came back up, Sophie was gone...
