I counted the seconds I lasted in my head. 1...2...3...4.…5.…6...7.…8.…9.…10. We landed on concrete floor. It felt like the stores.

‘uuugh’ my stomach ached . I felt like I just took a trip in a dryer. I was still holding nix’s hand and she was staring at me as if waiting for me to let go. I had let go of rob’s hand when he let go of mine. I saw he was the only one on his feet. Scott was snoring like he was asleep. Anna was blinking repeatedly. I tried standing up and for got that I was still holding nix hand and I pulled her up with me. ‘aah jes.’ ‘oh sorry’ ‘its ok.’ I felt myself to make sure I had everything. I had my backpack on and my gun on my belt. I looked around and everybody looked the same. I sighed in relief that we were alright. Anna slapped scott awake.

Everybody was awake and standing up now. ‘where are we rob?’ ‘we should be in the same place we were just at a different time.’ ‘so were still In the store. But what day is it?’ ‘it’s the morning of the 13. Its midnight.’ ‘ok then let try to get out’ ‘just walk thru anything’ ‘why?’ ‘the blue button. We are invisible and transparent. We are basically ghosts. We can interact with the world but the world cannot contact us.’ ‘so whats the point of defending ourselves now?’ ‘the effect only lasts for a full 24 hours’ ‘alright tehn. we should be done by then. Its 12:05. We should get moving’ ‘jes?’ ‘yes nix?’ she was taping my shoulder and I turned around and saw it. Three people in a huddle. They were Japanese. Well at least they spoke Japanese. They were near the game section. I saw rob pull out his revolver andI put my hand out and forced It down. I shook my head. Finally I heard some English. ‘will the package be delivered safely?’ ‘yes it should come to you in at least 28 hours if we are not incorrect. There is a problem though.’ ‘what is it?’ I heard the man snap at the people. He had grumpy husk voice of an elder. I had heard it somewhere. ‘we have miss delivered the package.’ ‘WHAT?? That contains some very crucial information. We must retrieve it. It will arrive shortly if the signs are right.’ ‘ well where is it??’ ‘have patience. Time waits or in this case hurry’s for no man.’ I hear him grumble some words but I couldn’t make them out where I was. I whispered ‘I think that’s the store manager’ ‘well we need to find his boss don’t we?’ ‘yes we do.’ we walked toward him slowly but he turned way from the men and started walking toward his car. We walked through the wall and scott said ‘that is cool’ ‘WHO SAID THAT??!?’ ‘shhh. We can still interact with the real world. They can hear us. But they cant hear us walking.’ ‘oh ok’ ‘who said? that answer me!’ we walked toward the store manager. He looked around and finally shook his head and sat in his car. I grabbed nix and jumped toward the car and we phased through it. I walked into the back seat and sat down pulling her with me. We sat together and I breathed out real loud. He turned around and stared at us. I was so scared I grabbed nix and held her. She was scared too and ha already hugged me close. I saw rob phase through and go inside the back seat of the car. He smiled at us and put 1 finger to his mouth. We nodded and pointed to the front seat. I saw scott and anna scramble into the trunk. He stayed staring at us. It was like he could see us. But then he shook his head again and started the car. I let go of nix immediately and looked out the window. She looked at me and then looked out her window. I looked back at her. And tried to get her attention but I saw her frown out of the window so I turned away. I could feel my inside clawing at me. “apologize to her!” there was another force though telling me “you cant now or else the man will suspect” “at least get her attention and smile apologetically” I was having a war in my head and the part that wanted to do good won. I tapped her and she looked at me, depressed. I smiled and mouthed ‘I’m sorry’. she smiled back and mouthed ‘its okay’

The man started to drive off and I thought it would be safe for the moment….for the moment.
