It was fun, just sitting there. I had never been a girl that guys really, 'wanted' in any way. Not to have sex with, (thank god) but not to date either, (sad, right?) I was never the girl that got the guy, I was the girl that watched her crush get taken by the girl that could get any guy. It frustrated me to an extent, but over time? I was used to it. We walked back to the academy in silence. We walked to the alley way look of the two buildings for the dorms, one had the door on our right, that was his, and mine was on my left.

"Bye," He said,

"See ya" And we walked into the buildings. I walked up the stairs in that sub-dued kind of moment. Sort of the, 'ok, that was cool. Now what?' Even though I had school tomarrow, I wasn't tired, I was fully awake and waiting for anything else to happen. I decided to walk around the campus outside. I was already wearing a jacket so I didn't have to go back to my dorm. I crept back down the stairs in the darkness, holding my breath.

I was new to the school, my record untouched, and this would definitly smug people's view of me by sneaking out. I was on here on full scholarship, being too poor for this place. My logical side argued that, while my other side thought, "Oh who cares? This school is filled with deep, nightowl type people who love the moon and stars, they're pretty anyway. I'm sure the school won't punish me to just clear my head."

I held my breath and opened the door, hearing the lock click and a cool night air rushing in. I suppose I didn't notice it was cold outside, was this the feeling every girlfriend and boyfriend type person felt when they had interests? 

I slowly clicked the door shut behind me and went across the track to the edge of the forest and decided to go in. It was dark because even though it was a clear night, there were so many trees and branches, you couldn't see anything since the light couldn't get that far past it all. I walked slowly, pushing branches out of my eye lenght instead of getting hit with them. I walked so more, stumbling a little along the way, until I saw a sudden clearing up ahead.

Curious, I kept walking. I was so amazed at what I saw! A small pond with a ton of trees just circled around it, a nice big rock to sit on, and a beautiful view of the full moon. I wondered if there was anyone else who knew about this place. The only thought I could think up was maybe one person like me, who decided to keep it to theirselves, so that it could be their safehaven, uninterrupted. I walked further and sat on the rock, and looked at my watch,

"11:53? Thats weird" I thought out loud, I thought so much more time had passed. I looked back out to the water, and then I heard branches snapping, more than one person was coming, I was definite about that. I jumped off the rock and into the water. (always such a quick thinker, right?) and I swam further away, since I'm a fast swimmer.

"Check around, make sure we're alone" a guy's voice said, probally about 17? I was on the coast on the right side, about 70ft from where I had been. I waited to be found, and nothing.

"All good." came a girl's voice, same age.

"Let's start then" The guy smiled.
