Something about the Math teacher's appearance seemed to induce a panic attack to anyone who came within 50ft of him. He just smirked and looked at me, holding out his hand. I grabbed it and shook it quickly, then let go.

"So, you're going to be in alegbra, that should be fairly easy. if you progress fast enough, you have a chance of being switched into geometry. I assign homework almost every night and expect it to be done neatly and complete. No cheating. Clear?" His voice held so much commandment in it for a guy who looked barely older than the science teacher, and unlike his teacher counterparts, he wasn't laughing, joking or eager to get to know me.

"mhm." I mumbled, wanting to take my eyes off his but not able to. Then there was just a silence, finally Libba broke it (thank god)

"um, ok, thanks Mr.Hiltz, We have to go intro her to a few more teachers, see ya." She pushed me out of the room by my back and we were back in the hall, and I exhaled, not realizing I had been holding my breath.

"What's with him?" I asked confused and disgusted sort of oh-my-god-what-just-happened kind of way.

"I don't know, usually he's pretty fun. All the straight girls here, (and the gay boys of course) always think he wants them but he's never acted that way to anyone before." Kelsie said, confused. I shrugged it off, pretending it didn't bother me and they showed me the rest of the teachers. I didn't really pay attention after that, i was in a daze. After the last teacher it was already 7:00 pm.

"You know what? I think I'll skip dinner, i'm just gonna head up to bed." I lied, but I was going to my room, so I could be alone and mellow out.

"Ok? We'll probally be in Steve's tonight until 8:30 pm." Alexa said casually, my eyes buldged out,

"What?!" I said, my mouth staying open, Libba quickly backtracked for me,

"NO NO!! STEVE'S IS A PIZZA PLACE ON MAIN STREET!!" She said, her hands in the air doing that stop-stop!!! kind of motion. I opened my mouth and silently did that "Oo I got it." thing. We separated and I walked up the stairs to my dorm. Libba had given me one of the spare keys to the room until I could get my own set. I walked in and turned on a light. I walked across the room to the porch and sat down in one of the seats, bringing my knees under my chin and wrapping my arms around them.

I couldn't believe I was here. Here in this place where there was no one who gave a shit about "DIOR" which I had to hear so much about from a girl at my old school. People here were the outcasts that had no one else. The people who felt out of place and alone were here. This place showed that no matter how alone you felt, there were other kids here to sympathize with you. They've been through it all too, even the adults and teachers here, they showed you can still run across the room with socks and laugh.

I had a quick impulse thought, I got up out of my chair, went across my dorm and took off my sneakers, then in my socks, I ran to one end of the huge hall and ran. Halfway down I stopped running and started to slid. i was going so fast it was amazing, but before I could stop myself, I hit mr.Hiltz

"Oh my god! I'm really sorry! REALLY! Here, lemme help you up!" I said, shocked and worried what he'd do to me. I grabbed his hand and Tugged him up quickly, thinking he would be much heavier. He stood up, rubbing his head, messing up his already messed up hair more,

"haha, chill. I'm fine and I'm not Mr.Hiltz" I looked at him skeptically sideways, thinking he must have hit his head too hard, he must have noticed my glance and explained,

"I'm his twin, James. He's Matt."

"And I will believe you because..." i said, still skeptic. He pointed to his left temple, there was a small scar, more like an tiny indent right on it

"My bro, doesn't have one."

"Oh, ok. So, I'll see you around." I said, starting to walk backwards, motioning with my hand the way I was going

"You don't want to go to Steve's?" He smirked, but unlike his bro, it was a fun smirk, not a -you-are-going-to-die-in-some-way-while-in-my-possesion smirk.

"Sure." i agreed, smiling back.
