As much as I hated to be pulled anywhere, especially by the wrists since they are seemingly inhumanly small and bruise like an apple (banana??? w/e apple's easier to spell) I would have protestsed and yanked my wrist back in a milla-second,

But i didn't. The warmth blanketed over me the minute the two of us got outside. Plus, the accepting enviroment just radiated a feeling of happyness. I know what some people think, goths are goths because they're dark and suicidal and always wearing black, hating sunshine, mean, depressed, etc. the stereotypes could go on forever. But let me tell you (since you're reading this its phyisically impossible for me to slap you) that while some of those are true, they're not ALWAYS true.

For instance, a bad grade on a test will make you sad, but it won't make you GOTH. get it? So anyways (haha i sidetrack now and then)

So the kids here were happy. While I was admiring the togetherness this school offerered the previous outcasts of less accepting schools, Libba brought me over to some kids sitting under a tree in the shade.

"Amy, this is Alexa, Kelsie, Kayla, Zora and Kay" Libba intro-ed.

"Hey, can I have a moment, I need to narrate in my head." They all smiled and laughed,

"sure." they agreed.

ok so kelsie had bleach blonde hair, dyed, and it was chopped sort of, she also had brown eyes with an indescribable tint of red (ok..almost indescribable) she was regular skin, not tanned or transculently white and she was about 5'5''.

Next, I described Alexa: She must have been either hispanic or pure-italian, but either way, she had dark brown hair and brown eyes, and tan skin. She had a round face and was wearing skinny black jeans and.....a black guy jacket with blood,

"um..."I started, not sure how to word my question, Alexa laughed and said,

"lol its fake, its just really cool to put on sometimes." My head secretly heaved a sigh of relief.

Then there was Zora, she was definitly every girls dream of curves in the right places but i looked somewhere else so i wouldnt seem perverted. She had red hair, but with black streaks which made both colors stand out more, and blue eyes. She was completly decked out in hot topic apparel.

Then there was kayla, she had dark brown hair and blue eyes. regular blue shirt and black jeans, hint of eye liner and some concealer, i don't mind though, it's high school and the girls at my old school seemed to wear all of those chinese doll's mask on to cover one corner of their face.

"ok, done now" i smiled, content with my inner monologue.

"Ok, come on, let's go to the balcony." kalya suggested,

"The balcony?" I asked, confused,

"Its really big! The school holds dances there once in a while, people eat their lunch there, people have dates, and friends hang out. Its got a great view."

"Ok, where is it?"

"Well, which room do you guys wanna use?" Libba asked the others,

"Whoa..room? You don't mean there's a balcony in each dorm room, right?" I asked, astounded, hoping for the right answer

"Oh, pfft I forget to tell you. there are. And you share a room with me and kelsie, while Kayla, Kay and Alexa share a room in the room across from us." I stared, open mouthed at them. We kept walking,

"Come look for yourself" Kelsie smiled.

The view was beautiful! And the shore right on the side of the building you could see where the sun would set and you could face other students. The sea air was refreshing and not cold. I sucked in huge gulps the sea air, missing it from back in my old cape town. I opened my eyes after a few minutes of appreciation to see a guy smiling at my idioticness which I would perfer to call gratitude. I felt my face getting hot, knowing I was embarrassed yet nothing I could do about it.

"What's in that building across from ours?" Not taking my eyes off the guy in the distance. Hoping for any of the girls to say anything other than what I knew was the answer,

"That's where the guys sleep," Libba answered, digging through the mini-fridgel.

"Oh," I tried to answer as indifferently as possible. They mus have not been looking at my face since none of them asked any further.
