It was an overwhelming sensation! I wanted to look at it all at the same time and yet look at the best part(S)!! I looked around at the different parts so quickly i was afraid of getting whiplash. There was a giant field out front and no one was alone. Luckily, no one was doing PDA which I could never stand, I guess the people here thought so too. Some kids were lying on their backs, soaking the sun, others were playing frisbee or football. Some were meditating in the sun or shadows the giant trees placed seemingly perfectly were planted at. There were kids reading, laughing, contemplating.
it was so sunny out and the sky was so blue. The grass was perfectly green and the school was directly overlooking main street, the most beautiful place i'd almost ever seen, besides the school,! It seemed like modern department and overruling stores like target and walmart were untouched here in this covenant.
There was a small bookshop, an ice cream and candy store, a restaurant, a library, a bowling alley, a clothing store, a pizza place, and at the end of it, there was a gigantic triangular patch of grass. I had so many questions and wanted them all answered now. Then, Angie placed a warm hand on my shoulder.
"First off, yes, you and other students here are allowed to go to main street anytime unless its during class. We aren't your parents so if you decide to stay out all night, that's not our fault or problem, you're glad to. Second, yes main street actually loves our students since we give them business and are VERY POLITE," she emphasized, smiling playfully, "so they enjoy us. Also, the library? Being at our school, you get a priviledged library card. Since so many of our students come from broken homes or have money troubles, like yourself, ,the library lets you used excellent conditioned ones. However, like i have just said, you get a PRIVILEDGED library card so it can be taken away. Also, the things like the pizza store, ice cream shop? If you don't have money to spend whenever you want to, you can do chore type things for the school and we'll pay you."
"Like what?" I asked, not wanting to miss this part,
"Well, mowing or watering the lawn. Weeding, doing dishes, et cetera. Also, since they want to keep our company so much, their prices are surprisingly low. Now, come inside the school with me." We walked into the school and there was a staircase there. She walked up and I followed quickly behind her. Not because I was clingy or shy, even scared of people, as most would, but because I couldnt contain my excitement to see more.

We walked down and there started being doors on each side of me, then she stopped at one and knocked and a girl answered (duh).
"OH! Hey Angie!" A girl with shoulder length brown hair and bright green eyes, extremely pale and only 4'10'' said with a warm smile, "say, if you could be slime and microsoft at the same time, would you?" she asked with a playful, inquisitive smile. Angie laughed and said
"I'd have to get a list of pros and cons on that one after all the others you've asked me" and she messed the girl's hair up a little. Then I said,
"I definitly would. Then I'd be like, a green computer. That would kick ass." I smiled and her eyes widened.
"YAY!" She lept and hugged me tightly. "Finally someone who understands me!" She laughed and I laughed a little too. It was nice having someone really genuine after so many months of fakeness from my old school.
"I'm glad you like each other. You're roommates if you don't mind Libba." Angie asked.
"No, I wouldn't like the only person to understand my deep, unique....TORTURED soul to be my buddy." She smiled and stuck her tongue out. We both laughed at her dramatics." Angie put up with us
"Well, I have to get Amy arranged, do you think you could show her around?" Angie asked.
"Sure!" and Libba tugged my hand down the stairs from where we had just came so fast I just managed to say
"THANKS!" before the doors closed and we were back outside in the warmth.
