Yep, For a girl that hated surprises, I loved this one. It happened so much later in the year. I was forced to go through the drive-though window of heck. One day after school, I was staying after as usual. I went to my secret place and took my ipod, latest book I was either reading or rereading (this time rereading) and a soda from the vending machine. It was the auditorium.
There was no feeling better to me than being alone and in a dark big area and no one knows im in. It's perfect when you have a hectic life or just feel like stopping everything and just look around in the cool darkness. I usually spent about 30 minutes there and would decide that all good things must come to an end and leave.
But today was different. I was walking through the hall with the main entrance door where all the annoying preps hang out when today it they were all gathered laughing, making a semi-circle to the door, crowding around something. As idiotic as they were, it was too tempting to just walk past, so I stopped and eased my way in.
There was a goth girl in front of the door (private school= really good security= automated locked doors, you have to have them open from the inside out.) She was obviously aggravated but didn't yell at them or scream. She stood there dignified and not about to play their game.
She just stood there, waiting for them to finish up. her eyes searing into them, getting them to get nervous of to what she might do to them if she does get in.
She was really pretty too. Her eyes were brown and light reflected off of them to make them look almost honey coloured. Although it might have just been the fact that I had just finished reading twilight and had the thought of Edward's topaz eyes in my head but the first thought that came to mind was "Vampire." But still, she didn't do anything wrong and who in this world doesn't know someone with brown eyes?? DUrr. She also had dark brown hair, almost black but not. So I figured she obviously didn't dye it.
I pushed the most annoying jock out of my way (Seth, ugg) and opened the door for her.
She smiled at me and walked in. Then she asked me,
"Where's Mr.Kupalka's office?"
"Oh, umm, here.." I mumbled, started walking to the office with her behind me. Then she walked in. I walked to auditorium discreetly as usual to make sure I wasn't followed and have to talk to anyone during my quiet time. I went to the sound proof dark room behind the stage and started reading.
Then suddenly 45 minutes later, I heard the sound of air rush in and one of the doors opened and she silently walked in, looking around until she met my eyes and smiled.
