It all started in a place not to far from where yu are now. It was a little town that I like to call "The Town". I was a young boy when I first saw the life that I would eventually live. A life known to rest of the world as mob life. To tell you how it ends I have to tell you how it all began many many years ago.
I was a boy at the age of 7. In a little town in the New York area. I lived with my aunt and unlce (i'll call them the Johnsons) Milly and Tony. They had no children so when my mother died and my father was arrested they had no corals with taking me in. Besides where Italians and family is everything to us. My uncle Tony Johnson had a full service garage gas, oil changes, tire changes the works. I helped on occasion when I wasnt playng ball or in school. I would pump gas for him and some times people would even give me a nickle or so for doing it. I didnt mind because Uncle Tony said that it would help turn me into a man.
I was a late Friday afternoon when I learnt of the actual business that Uncle Tony had been running. Aunt Milly asked me to ride my bike across town to let Uncle Tony know that dinner would be ready by six o'clock. When i arrived at the garage there where three cars there. Cars like I have never seen before. They where clean shinny and looked expensive. I walked to the door when a man in a suit stopped me. I yelled "Uncle Tony" not knowing who this man was and Uncle Tony came outside and said "he's ok he'll be your boss some day." This confussed e because I was unaware that we had any garage employees besides Earl. Tony then looked at me and said "You tell your Aunt Milly what your about to see and that'll be the end of you." I was shocked not really knowing how to answer what was said to me so with my mouth hung wide open I went inside.
"Wholey shit" (the other men laughed but Uncle Tony smacked my mouth) was all I could say when I saw a man tied to a chair blood streaming down his check coming from his eye. His nose looked to be brooken with tissue stuffed up it and his other eye swelled so much he could not see a thing out of it. As I looked and starred to see what else was going on my uncle said he owed us money and didnt want to pay so we had to teach him a lesson. I look at my Uncle Tony that day and it was decided at that very moment I was going to be mob boss some day of the Johnson crime family. To say that this very day didnt change everything that I was doing would be an understatement.
As for the rest of my childhood everything was pretty simple. I went to school no longer worked at the garage for nickles and ran jobs for Uncle Tony every day. Most were very simple like dropping off a package or letter. Or picking up an envolope. One time I actually got to call a man named Jack and tell him that Tony Jonhson was very displeased with him and the price had doubled. That was really exciting for me because even though I was a child that man knew who I was and was petrified of me. For the rest of my childhood days I kept the secret from Aunt Milly. I did jobs for Uncle Tony and my ball playing days were over. I was a Johnson now. And thats how I liked it.
