 Penny didn't even notice the traffic in the neighborhood. She was thinking and walking. She didn't much care what was going on. She was just out with her baby enjoying a nice peaceful walk. She didn't think anything exciting was going to happen in this boring neighborhood. She lived in a trailor park called Whispering Sands in Valparaiso Indiana. You had your normal trailor trash. The drunks the nosey people and the teenie boppers who thought getting into trouble was the coolest thing to do. Penny wasnt perfect either. She smoked other than that she hasn't done anything since she found out she was having a baby. She used to smoke weed, and drink alot. Put when she found out she was having a baby she quit it all. She no longer smoked ciggerettes and she no longer drank or smoked weed. Then she started smoking ciggerettes again when the stress of being a single mother was to much. She asked her sister for a ciggerette and she got hooked on smoking again. She didn't smoke in front of the baby though. She would always smoke outside. She knew her daughters lungs were too fragile to smoke around. She used to smoke in front of her all the time until one day when she was living in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Amber had to go to the hospital and had to stay there for 3 days. She had rsv and couldn't breathe. Penny was so scared she was going to lose her baby she vowed never to smoke in front of her again. Since that day she hasnt. Still walking and thinking about everything she oblivious to everything except the walk and her little angel who had fallen asleep during the walk. Then all of a sudden she hears a car horn. She turns around and looks to see who it was. It was an old friend from high school who she used to have a huge crush on. He pulled over and began to talk to her.

"Hey Penny. Long time no see. When did you come back to Indiana? I thought you were still living in the big PA."

"Hey Luke. I moved her about a month or two ago."

"I haven't seen you around until now."

"Well then I don't know what to tell you sorry."

"You always were a smart ass." He said laughing.

"Yea I know thats why everyone loves me." She said sarcastically

"Right." He said with a huge smile on his face.

 Penny couldn't help but stare at him. She thought he was so gorgeous. Ocean Blue eyes, Shoulders as wide as a quarter backs, Muscles that weren't to big or too small. A very athletic looking man. He was the last person Penny would have expected to see. She should have known better though he was living in this place before she went back to Pennsylvania to help her sister out and have the baby. She was dead set on not having her first fatherless child born as a Hoosier. She didn't know why it mattered but to her it did even if it didn't make sence.

"So what are you doing?" He asked Penny.

"Nothing just taking my daughter for a walk."

 He looked in the stroller and saw Amber. He didn't believe she had a baby. He thought she was lying to him. He took one look at her slim psyique and couldn't believe she had a baby. She weighed no more than 95 pounds. She actually weighed 93. She didn't have an eating disorder she was just naturally thin. She had a metabolism most people would kill for.

"Thats not your daughter." He said in disbelief.

"Yes it is." she replied defending herself.

"No its not come on Penny you weigh like what 95 pounds?"

"93 actually."

"Ewe big difference." He said sarcastically

"You were always a comedian huh?"

"You know it."  He said with a smile on his face

"Why dont you follow me down to my house?"

"I don't know where it is."

"Thats why I said follow me. Silly."

"Ha ha ha ha." She replied getting a little annoyed.

"Why?" she asked

"To catch up a little bit."

"Ok I will follow you."

"Good."

 He started to drive down the road slowly so Penny could keep up. When the got to his house Luke said,

"Home sweet home."

"You still live in the same house?"

"Yes I do.' He replied

 Penny took Amber out of the stroller and follwed Luke inside. His house was white and brown. It was a rather long trailor very nice on the inside. He knew how to keep a house nice and clean. The inside had brown wooden walls and pictures hanging from everywall that his mother had drew. She was a very good artist. Very talented. The picture were beautiful. She drew pictures of mystical creatures. Luke's room had blue walls and was rather smalla nd cramped. Although it was tidy it was small.

"Sorry Luke I want to go back outside." She said.

"That's fine lets go."

 Penny followed him back outside with Amber in her arms. When they were back outside the sun was glaring its rays down hard. Penny put Amber back in her stroller and covered her stroller with a blanket so she would be protected and not get a sunburn. Luke watched Penny.

"Is that really your baby?" He asked again still not convinced.

"Yes why would I claim someone elses baby?"

"I don't know I just can't believe you have a baby."

"Why? Its not like I was angel back in high school."

"Thats true." Luke said laughing.

"Hey do you remember Kassandra?"

"Yea what about her?" Penny asked.
