 "Robert you know your not......"

 The doctor stopped her midsentence.

"Who would you rather have operate on her me or some stranger?" He asked in a tone that told her to be quiet before any of the other faculty heard here.

"I'm sorry Rebecca but you can't be in here until we are done."

"I wunna see her." She said in a pleading tone.

"Im sorry I can't let you do that until we are done. How did you find this room anyway?" He asked.

"I ran around the whole hospital and yelled and screamed until someone told me where she was."

"They haven't kicked you off the premisses yet?"

"No they could try but you know me I wouldn't leave unless they sadated me."

"Yea that's true but I have to have you go to the waiting room until we are done. It shouldn't be much longer."

"Ok." She left hesitantly

 The doctor started to stich Francine back up to start the transfusion. He had to give Francine a total of 96 stitches. I took longer than expected and he was afraid that if he didn't get the blood in her soon he would lose her again. When the stitches were in. He started the transfusion he put both bags of blood into Francines small body. There was a problem it wasn't enough. They needed more blood and quick. Francines seemed like she was fading again.

"Hurry go to the blood bank and get 2 more bags and fast." He barked the order at the nurse.

She ran out as fast as she could to try and get the blood. It was too late Francine had flat lined again.

"Why are you doing this to me?" He asked God in anger

"Hurry up and charge up the machine now." He demanded the assistant

 The man went to the machine and charged it up. When it was ready the doctor said,

"1,2,3 Clear."

 He placed the paddles onto Francine's chest and shockked her. It was a sucess.

"Ha Ha Ha thats my girl. She has 9 lives." He said overjoyed.

 Just then the nurse came back in with the blood. The doctor started giving Francine's small body the blood it needed to survive. He didnt use the full two bags all he needed was one and a quarter. It seemd that the surgery was a sucess. Francine was going to survive. The docotr sent her to recovery and walked out of the room to talk to her mother.

"Rebecca?"

"Yes?"

"I think she is going to make it." He said with satisfaction.

"Can I see her now?" She asked with impatientness.

"Not yet. She needs to be observed in the recovery unit for awhile."

"Ok." She said with dissapointment

"I'm sorry." He said with a tear in his eye. "I know you want to see her."

"It's not your fault. Thank you for saving her." She siad gratfully

" Your welcome." He replied ina sincere tone.

"When did you get back to town? How come you never told me you were back?"

"Well me and you weren't talking when I left so I figured you wouldn't want anything to do with me."

"I mean Robert you stole from me but you are still my brother. I know you needed the money but I don't know why. I mean your a doctor."

"Yea but you know I have a gambling problem."

"I know did you quit?"

"Yes that's why I am back."

"Thats good."

"Do you think we can make amends?" He asked in a scared of the answer tone.

"I think we can."

"Thats great." He said with excitment.

 He saved his neice and made up with his sister all in one night. He was happy he felt accomplised. He knew why he came back. Something inside him told him he was needed home. He just didn't know why. Tonight he finally figured it out.

"I will let you see her when she is out." He told Francines mother.

"Thank you." She replied

 The doctor turned around and walked out of the room to check on Francine again.
