At April 21,1991
A new child was born
At the strike of the dawn
And it was then when his mother swore
To guard him even though daddy wasn’t home
The mom couldn’t afford money for
The rent, couldn’t even go to a store
To buy food for her son
Even at the set of sun
She did whatever she could
Mostly even prostitution
So her son can eat
Even at least a piece
Of maybe any simple meat
As the kid grew up
He begins to notice lots
Of necessary things
That he’d give up anything
So he’d be able to do them
But where they now live in
Is nowhere near to being
A huge and incredible mansion
And the mom is never home
And he feels left alone
There’s nowhere he can go
He wishes love he would hold
This is the story of a drug addict
And a mother that tried to fix it
She has done nothing wrong
Events mislead him to the wrong way
His mom went through severe pain
Because she loved her son
By the time he reached 16
He began selling and drug dealing
The mom had no clue
That her son had broken the rules
One day the mom stays home
Then police men come knock at her door
They say a 16 year old
Boy is in a lot of trouble
For robbing this store
The mother says nothing more
They see him walk up
To go outside but
the police men push her back
Bound him up with chains in his back
The mom screams out in horror
Her heart begins to reveal sorrow
It escapes and she begins to lacerate
And tears trickle down her face
She tries to hold them back
But just with that lapse
It led him straight to prison
And so the mom failed her mission
This is the story of a drug addict
And a mother that tried to fix it
She has done nothing wrong
Events mislead him to the wrong way
His mother suffered severe pain
Because she loved her son
The mom only felt melancholy
So much vacancy surrounded her body
She lost what she always worked
Day and night extremely hard for
So much actions
Many thoughts
Make her reactions
Different than what she first thought
And the thoughts bounce off her head
"My son never cherished"
No longer could she handle it
She committed suicide and unfairly perished
This is the story of a drug addict
And a mother that tried to fix it
She gave up her life for him
Events clouded the best moments
They could’ve had until the end
Also mislead him to the wrong way
Causing his mom severe pain
Until she finally gave in
And she went away
