"As soon as the knife was in you, you're dad stopped.  He told me if I helped you I would die, but ofcourse I didn't listen to him.  I leaped at him and knocked him to the ground.  He put his arms around my throat, so I put mine around his.  He let go and punched me straight in the jaw, but I didn't give in, I just squeezed my hands around his neck tighter.  I must've done something right cause he let go.  But, that made me realize that you're getting closer to dying every second so I made a compromise with him, I told him if he let me take you to the hospital that he could go free, and that was it.  I don't even remember your dad getting up he left so fast."

Adam telling the story over for me, made me queasy.  It didn't feel like I had been out that long.  But knowing my dad was out there still, just made me sick.  I guess Adam understood cause he wrapped his arms around me.  His lips were at my ear.

"Everything will be ok, you can come live with me and my family, and I'll take care of you, you won't leave my sight.."he promised.  Tears formed in my eyes.

"You wi-il-will.."I chocked.

"Ofcourse...you are my life now.." with that I turned around and forced my lips to his.  I just couldn't control myself, my hands tangled in his hair, and I pushed myself closer to him.  I didn't even care that we were in a hospital and I had stitches on my stomach, he was all that I could focus on right now.  His hands were quickly around my waist and he got up, pulling me along with him as he laid me on the bed, but carefully not wanting to hurt me.  Adam got ontop of me, but was shaped in a way so he wasn't completely on me.  He broke away.

"W-"his finger was at my lips.  

"I hear my parents coming."

Oh. I mouthed.

Adam jumped up, but picked me up and sat down with me in his arms.  The greatest feeling was having him put his strong, warm arms around me.  There was no one that could replace the feeling I get from him.  No one.

"Hi mom!"Adam greeted his mother.  Damn...for a mom she looked quite young.  The father was probably the same way.  

"Hello mam.."I said stunned.  A huge smile spread across her face.

"Oh Jordan you have no idea how nice it is to meet you!  When Adam called saying he was taking his girl to the hospital, I about fainted!  I'm so glad you two found eachother though, bout time this boy got a beautiful girl..."she chuckled.  His mom was so nice, made me think of how mine was.  I frowned.

"What's wrong?"Adam asked.  I just shook my said and said nothing.
